The rumor is now AJR is going to run 2 cars, with 2 new drivers, and both drivers are champions. That rules out almost everybody named on this thread. Scelzi maybe? Could be even Tony P.. Either way this rules out Lucas, Langdon, JR, I still do not see Lucas or Langdon with AJR, Lucas has a big deal with GEICO, Langdon has Lucas, I think Forrest wants to at least primary sponsor 1 car with his company on the side for the full tour.

Langdon is the 2007 NHRA Super Comp Champion.

If that's true, then we just need to see where Dixon ends up.

Same old crap huh? He needs to get out of 2008.

It would seem like it. I also don't get the disliking towards Al Anabi with young Samuel... Oh, wait I do - He doesn't like many countries outside his own. At least people like AJ have an open mind. All the best to both parties. Going to be an interesting off season.

You guys really need to open your minds... They have never said a past T/F or F/C champ. There are so many talented drivers in the sportsman ranks as well as other pro classes. Shawn Lagdon, Matt Smith are two pros I can think of that would make sense as well as a long list of sportsman competitors... It's getting interesting thats for sure..

Langdon was World Champion in Super Comp in 2007.

Interesting indeed. When they said past series champions I was thinking Nitro only, like how he made it an effort for the Al-Anabi TF to be full of nothing but members who have won a nitro championship. Yes, Langdon is and it counts, speaking of past TAD champs where's Santos hiding? Anyway Langdon would be a good choice, he's proven he can drive and cut lights with the best of em. He's a driver that has beaten Massey and Antron ESPECIALLY ANTRON multiple times on the tree last year while Antron left first 77.4% of the time and it is not easy to leave on a guy that good.

Your post is interesting because Matt Smith has stated that he wants to move up to TF, but I have no idea what his plans are for 2012 and if it's still accurate to say that.

Matt just posted on the previous page, and it doesn't sound like he's too keen on Al Anabi Racing.......
Didn't all this stuff start right after Englishtown of Al-anabi when I was let go and 5 other pro mod teams.... Everybody does not even know what is going on or how all the teams and drivers have been treated... There will be alot more to come out... Just sit back and watch....

I would not guess for a second that was a nice conversation. I mean sponsers usually never pull out in the middle of a season, I could see his fustration, but luckily he was able to make it a good finish without them.

According to some individual poster. Now he could have been Alan Johnson for all I know, but I doubt it and I'm guessing that he's guessing. Comp Plus gets on top of these stories quickly and they haven't announced anything, other than Dixon appears to be gone from AJR.
