Heard the whole press conference. Monster Execs did go out of their way to state that this would not impact any of their current sponsorships. They called this a growth opportunity. Funny though they mentioned every motorsport and driver they are associated with including the new F1 champ, rally cross, Moto GP but never mentioned NHRA, Drag Racing, JFR, or Brittany Force at all.

And yes they called out Kurt Busch directly and said they will continue to sponsor him in Cup racing and they will become the official Energy drink of NASCAR.

Read about it when Brittany locked in Monster, They mentioned that they wanted no part of John in the negotiating room at all.

Funny how there's been no more mention of Prock moving or who would take over the Beckman tuning. Makes one look at the date to see if it's April.

The official JFR announcement is Friday. Every piece of media on this story has reported that. I don't understand how anyone could be confused about that.

As for Beckman, how can you report the replacement when the current crew chief hasn't officially left yet? I would imagine the Don has a replacement in mind, if not hired already, he is just not going to undercut JFR's announcement.

All of that type of factual information has never stopped non-stop speculation on this web site in the past. You sound a bit cranky today..

The Prock move isn't supposed to be part of this announcement. :)

If Traxxas does not renew as Courtney's sponsor I think her car will be black with green M's on it.

We are excited to work with Sponsorship Integrated Manager Matt Davis and his team at Advance to help them grow their business across all their stores. I have done shows with Advance Auto Parts in the past and am looking forward to working with them again.”

Advance Auto Parts has been actively involved in motorsports through the NHRA, NASCAR and other motorsports series important to its customers.

“We are proud to be partnering with Courtney Force and the John Force Racing team for the 2017 season and beyond,” said Walter Scott, Chief Marketing Officer for Advance Auto Parts. “After working with John and the team last year through our partnership with PEAK, we got to know Courtney and felt she would be a great ambassador for our company.
