Nitro tuner shake ups coming

Keep him and use him to wrap up the title! Business is cutthroat, you do what's best for the business and not what's best for your heart. Do you think Prock would have purposely threw races so John didn't win? I don't, I think his integrity is above that. John will have his work cut out to win the title now without Jimmy, with Jimmy he would have a decent shot of overtaking Hagan.

Prock is a great guy, never would i think he would through a race. I have had lots of employees and i have let resignations run out and have regretted every one i did.

First of all, I don't believe for a second that his heart isn't in it for the last 2 races, especially considering he could go out as the champ..........

But even if what you say is true, my point was a general one anyway. The boss should honor a notice, especially if it's done in a professional way because he/she would damn sure not like it if notice wasn't given. I've been privy to MANY instances in business where individuals have gone out of their way to ensure the current employer has adequate time to replace them, only to be out of work for those 2 weeks because the boss got their panties in a wad. It's just not professional as far as I'm concerned.

Could you imagine if Prock actually abandoned ship at this stage of the game with the chance to close the deal? C'mon, man.....

Same as I told Paul, resignations don't play out good.

What John did wasn't exactly wrong. We had employees who decided to leave our company. It sucks to lose the good ones but that's life. John gets a head start on getting a new crew chief and Jimmy has a early start with his new team.

That would be great if he had a new CC, Neff is going to tuning Force's car along with his primary job with Hight. Not what you want when you are 36 points out of the lead.

If it's true and Prock going to DSR ( he said in the press conference he knew where he was going) than he made the right call. It could potentially be a conflict of interest to have a tuner you know is going to the competitor tuning your car against his future bosses car

I thought Force explicitly said that Neff would not be tuning his car over the next two races.......although we all know that behind the scenes he will be providing a lot of input!

I listened to the conference and could have sworn he said the brain trust led by Neff was going to be tuning his car. He also said Neff's primary focus would be on Robert's car as they still have a remote chance at best of winning the title. It wouldn't be the first time John has talked out of both sides of his mouth.

I just listen to Force on WFO Radio, he said all crew chiefs will maintain the positions they're at. Neff is the brain-trust of the group and they will look at all tune ups as they have all year. He won't know for a few days what crew members will be leaving, everything going on involve his car all other teams are secured with no changes through end of year. He also said his new ride for next year will be at Vegas. One more thing his wife and him have decided to pull 2.5 million from savings if needed to fund his and Brits team for next year.

I wouldn't count JFR out by any stretch of the imagination . Depending on sponsors he can cut one team easily and that's himself . No doubt he would like to go out with another win .

I didn't listen to the call, but was basing it on this tweet from WFO

#JohnForce says #MikeNeff will NOT be tuning his car over then next two races. #NHRA

As much as I want to see John stay out there, I really hope he doesn't spend 2.5 mil of his own savings to do it. He's worked too hard for what he has.

Wouldn't be the 1st time Force went out of pocket to run a car . Neff when he was running the Ford logo (believe 2009) was out of Force's pocket

Good for Jimmy. Nobody is looking out for him as long as Forces sponsorship opportunities are in flux, and he knows it.
Somewhere, another exiled part of the "family" (Coil) is laughing at the hypocracy.

I hear there is more to Prock leaving. Something to do with cash flow and pay checks at JFR that started the whole chain of events. If that's true then JFR has really big problems and the future is not to bright. Of course that could be a very temporary thing but if there is that type of problem and they are operating that close to the red line it doesn't bode well.

And so silly season begins. Nowhere has it been said Prock is going to DSR (other than on rumor boards). Am I the only one that's noticed a few personnel exchanges back and forth between JFR and DSR? Also BVR is probably looking for a crew chief as well.

There is only 2 owners that could afford Prock and one is Don S., plus it plays well for DSR. Unless Force has a card up his sleeve the odds have drastically change in Hagan's favor.
Hmmmm.
