In N' Out Burger and Drag Racing Makes The News

I would love to try In N' Out someday....being an East Coaster

No one has mentioned Fuddruckers yet........talk about fixins bars! Theirs looks like a grocery store vegetable bin

I guess this thread turned into a burger discussion... so I have to comment.

Has no one ever tasted a Culver's butter burger? They are a midwest chain I guess so its possible. But DAMN they have all the fast food burgers beat.

.

I agree. We've got one just a few minutes down the road from us. They've gotten more than a little bit of our money in the 15 years we've lived here.

The reason the fries are different now is they don't use lard to cook them with anymore. Probably a good thing, but they're just not the same.

Another thing Culver's does differently is they don't freeze their beef. Some folks swear it makes a difference.

For what it is worth:

"She and Martinez divorced in 2011. That same year, she married for a third time to Val Torres Jr., a contractor and race car driver."

While Five Guys is good as well, I was told they fry their fries in peanut oil--not good for someone with nut allergies.

As a west coast racer, you never look in the other lane and see her or any Torres car and think "this should be easy". Great racers, every one of them.
Every time I go to Pomona, I'll stay watching sportsman racing til late and those cars are usually there too going deep rounds.
Wow, I've tried Five Guys several times and was not at all impressed.
I tried 5 guys burger at Bob Frey's favorite city, Rancho Cucamonga and I just was not impressed with the burger. Seemed like a grease ball burger from a dive.

I vote for a Tommy's Funny Car. They wouldn't have to burn nitro, just cook with chili!
Tommy's was my all-time favorite but I just haven't been able to stomach the heavy chili anymore.

My local In 'N Out has a picture on the wall of the A/fuel car Melanie drove.

The A/FD became a TF car, and shortly thereafter, Guy Snyder passed away. Whoever was running the company at the time, pulled the plug on racing. At least this is what I remember...

There is a car show every Tuesday night at the Fudruckers on El Toro in Lake Forest Ca, from 5 to 9 pm. Be there or be at In n Out.

Larry, that Fuddruckers car show has been going for better part of 20 years. Always great when I've gone:D

Four of my friends and I ran a car cruise night for 14 years at a Wendy's in Denville, NJ. Biggest crowd was 300 cars one special night with about half leaving on a multi-town cruise led by Paul LeMat in a yellow Deuce coupe.

Got any good pics of the Fuddrucker's shows?

I lived walking distance from an In-N-Out in Vegas for years. They are better than McDonald's, but In-N-Out's burgers are too small ... You have to get a double-double. The shakes are good though. I am not impressed with 5 Guys at all.

Like the Beastie Boys said, "chill at Fatburger when I am way out west." I do miss Fatburger ... Good thing I will be way out west this weekend.

Chris, when is your first race?
