In N' Out Burger and Drag Racing Makes The News

IN-N-OUT pays their employees and treates their employees very well. Maybe that's where they are investing their hard earned money. She now finds herself responsible for guiding the ship her grandfather built. And if I were her I would take that responsibility very seriously especially considering all the people who have been loyal to the company for many years and depend on IN-N-OUT for a livelihood.

Well said!

Big difference in having a net worth or a company valued at $1BIL, and having a billion sitting in an account. As others have stated, without having a national presence, it makes no sense to spend 3MIL/yr on a fuel car, no matter how much we diehards want to see it. Randy was spot on, she has a big responsibility to successfully carry the torch, and that means making good decisions.

Sure hope that In N' Out Burger, come out to the east coast someday! They'd put a real hurting on McDonalds & BurgerKing.

I've never had In N' Out......based on people's comments, I don't think McDonalds or Burger King would stand a chance.....what about Wendy's??

Michael, if I had the choice between "In N' Out" Vs Wendy's, I'm going with "In N' Out" and I've eaten at both of them. The only good burger here on the east coast is a place called "FiveGuys" > Home | Five Guys Burgers and Fries but they have a very limited menu, burgers-dogs-fries-cokes.

While In N' Out is pretty good, on the scale of I miss them, they don't rank first on my list… For me it's more like:

1. Benny's
2. Owl Cafe
3. Fat Burger
4. In N' Out
5. Everyone else, so far.

Why be just a fan when you can be an active participate?

For you In-and-Out newbies or yet to tryers, read this In-N-Out's Secret Menu | Badmouth

Enjoy!

I remember my first trip to In-N-Out like it was yesterday. Was in Ventura. Oh man. I remember drooling, and wanting to do a lap and get right back in line. Girlfriend at the time refused to be embarrassed, so I took her home and I offered to get dinner :)

The secret part of that secret menu is they'll basically do anything you want, you just need to ask (way before Burger King did their "have it your way" campaign) but that menu you posted makes it easier on the crews when you can order shorthand, and they are always busy....busy busy busy.

As for the full national event deal, I often wondered why someone hasn't done better selling partial sponsorship to these regional outfits. Much like Force does, or DSR, each car in the paddock has a main sponsor, and shares that space with the other main sponsors of the other cars. One car wins, all the sponsors get a little ink/exposure. Same could work for a regional sponsor-share program. We've seen many teams switch sponsors for one event, or more....just wondering out loud. Seems like there's a benefit to having your name on the car in your region, then when it travels to someone else's region, they do a reskin and your name just appears smaller. Hmmmm....I'm Captain Obvious by the way.
