Anybody heard when or if they plan to run the rest of the callout? Never heard AR make mention of it after they called off racing for the day
Oh ok, I could not remember if there were more than 16. Looks like the same deal in Pro Mod.They will set the field based upon last year's points. And since there are only 16 bikes there, they will work it out and everyone gets to race.
I remember sitting in the Gainesville bleachers somewhere around 2000-2001 maybe. my wife and son said - if you want to stay here and freeze be my guest. But we’re going to sit in the car. Gainesville can get cold.Between the temperature and the wind, it was ridiculously cold. I finally couldn't take it any more during Pro Stock and went into the Top Eliminator tent. And by 7am tomorrow it's supposed to be 28 degrees. I thought I was in Florida but apparently American Airlines took me somewhere else...
Weather channel showing 43 degrees at 11am tomorrowSportsman will finish Monday. First thing on track tomorrow is TF 1st round at 11am.
See the run schedule on the NHRA Southeast Division FB page. Time run for sportsman tomorrow evening after the pros are done for the day, then race on Monday (if there’s anyone left who hasn’t withdrawn and gone home by then)GAINESVILLE - Pro Modified Final Qualifying, Session #1 Order

Still no word on Sportsmen.
Michael Phillips hosed the track down with oil from the start to the finish line.I've been keeping up with the action thru Live Timing and DRC, but they only ran 2 pair in PSM qualifying and haven't run anything for the last 45 minutes. I think that we're probably done for the day.
I mean, they have to do everything they can to get the pros done by Sunday night or else the fans complain that they can’t come back Monday. And if they do that and delay the sportsman till Sunday night or Monday, then those guys start shouting about how NHRA doesn’t want them. No-win situation for NHRA no matter what they do.where to start. new sponsor pep boys for special race. had today to complete this special race. 3 hrs. of tv time to accomplish. all day at track to run 7 pairs of TF. somehow managed to screw that up. psb rider screws up track on already short day. who is making decisions for what is most important?
what is wrong with a monday finish?
the afternoon show was 90 min. of interviews. the evening show, which was tape delayed, managed to show 4 TF callout runs in one hour, all the while repeating interviews and videos from afternoon show. hmmm. not 1 of 4 runs was competitive. this is supposed to be the nhra’s best. i’m done with nhra this weekend. good luck with this cluster of a race trying to be forced into two days.
good grief. how could a casual fan have possibly even been slightly entertained by the 3 hours of tv today?
