I must be missing a lot here. The pictures of Courtney are very tasteful and not pornographic or even sexual. The human body can a beautiful thing if you keep it in shape. Most of us have bodies that should NEVER be seen without clothes. With all of the things that are wrong and bad in the world, a beautiful lady showing that she has worked hard to stay in shape should not be something people are worried about. I hope all of the complainers don't ever go to a beach because they are likely to see more then what Courtney is showing!
 
I bet people from other countries like the United Kingdom would be laughing if they saw this thread. They don't understand why people in the US are so uptight over some skin. It's crazy. :confused:
 
I didn't miss any points. The pictures are done tastefully and they wouldn't be degrading to anyone's daughter if they did the same. I didn't see anything wrong with the other pictures either, and they included guys. And in no way was the guy pictures degrading to me, being a guy myself as it is.

How many perfect gentlemen today are a**holes tomorrow? People say mean things when they are envious or jealous of others, male or female, attractive or ugly, fit or well fed. Human nature in trying to level the playing field.

Antron's race hasn't been exploited in his marketing? Get real. Tony and Cruz have been promoting their Hispanic links for years. They're tools to be used just like Courtney is using hers. There are several reasons that Matt uses his farm life as his hook for PR. Can't set yourself apart in the PR jungle if you follow what everyone else is doing.
 
I'll cut and paste exactly what I posted on Comp Plus.. She's 25 years old, do you really think her Daddy made her do it? And forgive the Danica references, but they were applicable over there..

Were you all disappointed in John for doing it before? I still don't understand all the backlash from this, but then again, I don't have a daughter either.

She's got a great body, God Bless Her for having it and showing it off. And I don't think it's fair to compare Courtney to Danica's rise because of two things.

1) Courtney has a WAY better body and a better attitude.
2) Courtney has won several times and really has started making her own name before she ever took her clothes off for this.

Yes, she's John's daughter and got a little more of a headstart compared to everyone else. John isn't driving the car for her. Pretty girls are always going to get a little "more fair" treatment when it comes to anything in life, so I don't think you can base allegations on special treatment because she took some beautiful and very tastefully done pictures showcasing her body. It's not like she's in Hustler performing vile acts of perversion. And Danica didn't lose fans because of Go Daddy stuff, she lost fans because she lost and wrecked.. a lot.. and had a piss poor entitled attitude.

If I looked like that, and worked my butt off to stay looking that way, I would have pictures taken too because it doesn't stay that way forever. Probably way worse than hers are. It takes a lot of guts and confidence to do what she did. And if it offends you, don't look. Nobody is holding a gun to your head(nor should they have to..lol). And if you think less of her for it, I think that speaks volumes as to how small minded of a person you really are. She's not on TV in a bikini plugging domain names every week. She's a PR machine and a great ambassador of the sport doing more PR than any other two drivers combined before races.

And if you think this was purely a publicity stunt, do you really think she needs it? She's already more famous than her old man. I think she did it because she's proud of what she's accomplished and tired of people saying drivers aren't or don't need to be athletic.

I actually take a little pride in the fact that they only have Danica, when we've got proven history of women winning, let alone smokin' hot ones like Courtney.

Just to be clear...it's not the skin part I have a problem with. It's the reason behind the use of the content. I just wouldn't want one of my daughters to do it either. I'm bored with this now...moving on.

Both races were badly affected by the weather. I bet Norwalk were quite happy with how many they got there. They almost told everyone on Friday to come back next weekend. Glad they didn't, I would have been shattered
 
On the shots, very tasteful. Nothing at all wrong with what she has done. Would have taken a lot of guts as there would have been quite a few on location at the shoot. I just wish I was the guy behind the lens. Hope I can find it on the newsstands at either JFK or LAX on Thursday nite on my way out.

Obviously, she had a reason to do it and I think it is great she did!!! Oh, and she is winning the votes for the cover photo, so I think a lot of people agree she looks fantastic :)
 
She's worked very hard to achieve that body and she looks amazing! I knew she worked out and was in good shape, but I didn't know she was in that good of shape. I was heavily into weightlifting/bodybuilding for 12 years so I have firsthand knowledge of all the effort and dedication it takes to get into great shape. She's 25, not 18, so she's got 7 years of maturity under her belt as an "adult" to make her own choices. I say good for her! This just makes me wish Ashley would have done the same thing about 6 or 7 years ago. ;)

You critics act like Courtney did the nothing-to-the-imagination thing in Hustler. I found the pics totally classy and beautiful. No problem with them whatsoever.
