How long will it be before one of the photographers sells some photos to a web site that she didn't want people to see?

While not completely out of the question,

I'd think that a company such as ESPN is able to hire photographers that carry pretty solid credentials, and said photographers would have to be pretty stupid to try something that would ruin their reputations, and destroy any chances of getting more work like this.

I'd also think that the contract would have pretty strong language regarding ownershop of said photos.

Then again, once the genie's out of the bottle.....

Maybe I'm just jaded from working at a major university where most of the young female students here are (high class/non porn!) magazine material. While I applaud Courtney for her hard work to achieve/keep the body she has when it comes to looks I just can't get past her huge mouth/teeth. And those giant bug/cop sunglasses she always wears couldn't be a bigger turn off. Don't get me wrong, she looks great but as far as cuteness and the Force girls go I think Ashley looks much better. I'd give #2 to Brittany. And finally #3 to Courtney. This is only MY opinion and I'm not trying to sway any one else so please don't go on the defensive! ;)

Interesting point. We all know there was more than just her and a photog there. Lets see, hair person, make-up person, lighting, plus assistants. All it takes is one with a cell phone camera.

I was watching HLN morning news while eating breakfast and a piece came on about the ESPN Body Issue. Of the 4 photos and descriptions they used, one was "professional drag racer Courtney Force". None of the photos had blurred sections so they must have been deemed acceptable for public television.

Do you think this type of recognition will benefit her, her team and drag racing in general? I think it may spark the curiosity in some and they will venture out to an event. That is when the rest can show their individuality to gain some fans of their own. And gaining a fan base is the name of the game.

And I think a lot of you need to open your eyes to reality. Females, just like males, have curiosity, fantasies, desires to live life and see what is available. Look at things like campus/frat parties in college, spring break, out of wedlock pregnancies, Girls gone wild videos, etc., all of these women are someones daughter, and it could be yours. People of all ages put on a front to present themselves to the public/relatives as they feel is required, but just about everyone has another side. Some act upon it while others suppress the notion and just dream about it, but it is there.

They posted a link on a very popular morning show from the Twin Cities. The link contained two pictures - both of Courtney.

The collection of pics of all the athletes are fun and done in good taste.

Finally, a post with some common sense!!!! You are so right about we all have it in us but some choose to suppress it. I think the unknown is scary to most people and they really do not know how to look at things with an open mind. Like I said before, Courtney is a beautiful girl and I see nothing wrong with what she did!!

John was, and still is, 100% opposed to this. However, the decision was taken out of his hands. He's not a happy camper.

Wow. If you had posted that earlier, you would have eliminated half the posts on this thread..........:)

This composition is very creative and well done, IMO...

They had a little segment telling when the issue is coming out and they showed pics of Courtney and some of the other athletes yesterday on the Today show, Extra, and Access Hollywood. This issue is getting a lot of positive exposure on the tv from the NBC Network. The only negative views that I have seen so far is from a very small amount of fans on a couple of the racng forums...but that was expected.

VERY small amount............ ;)

As for Papa Force being so against this, I don't know if I buy that. I haven't seen where he's publicly come out with that stance, but even if he did, I'd come sooner believing that he's doing it to create even more hype. That's simply what he does. Bottom line, if he was truly against it, and I mean truly, I don't see it happening, period.

And you won't see him come out publicly, either way. Buy whatever you want!
