What I am getting at is that I mentioned a few different female racers and you choose two specific people and said YOU WOULD GUESS that they WOULDN'T have a problem with it. So, again...what would make you guess in that direction? What do you GUESS the other women I mentioned would think? I'm not putting words in anyone's mouth...I'm asking that you explain your guess.
I'm usually pretty shy and reserved on here, but I think it was done pretty classy and I am going to buy a copy...and if anyone has a problem with that, then they can just kiss my big 305 pound azz.
Oh please. The body issue isn't some skin flick/mag or the like.
Sorry, but I expect to hear/read a comment like that from a woman who is "well fed," bitter and jealous....
Outside of the photographer and crew who saw everything, you really dont see any more than you would with her in a bikini at the beach.
Now you are making me blush.I like you Eugene
But, my daughter the racer, is absolutely livid over this. She feels that women in motorsports have worked really, really hard to shake the Cha Cha thing -- to just be respected as good drivers. This, to her, is a setback and doesn't help one bit.

Oh it's not??? well then what is it? I'm sorry to see nhra stoop so low. Whats next...a centerfold in national dragster "Track Tramp" 'o the week.
The reason I mentioned those two specifically is because I have seen photo shoots of them that some might consider too much. In Alexis' case I did not see any negative comments but in Angie's situation I did and she spoke up and defended herself. I didn't see a problem with either one of those as well. Do you feel better now that I explained myself, as you put it?
The Body Issue is NOT the same as the SI Swimsuit Edition. SI's is all about sex, with some unknown connection to sport. The Body Issue is a celebration of the athletes and the incredible bodies that make up a range of sports.
You may recall that John Force posed nude for it ("The Body You Don't Want") a couple of years ago after his Dallas accident. It is a very respectable and well done issue with only a wisp of sexuality. It is considered by many respected athletes to be an honor.

Paul, you are a marketing genius. You just showed a way to solve the low sales of National Dragster.Oh please. The body issue isn't some skin flick/mag or the like.QUOTE]

It's all yours sir, run with it, I have no patent on it.
Were either of those photo shoots tied to the NHRA/ESPN and their racing careers? If so, I must of missed them, which is just fine also.
It has nothing to do with "feeling better"....just trying to figure where your head is....I think I got that figured out.
Sorry Lynn, that wasn't directed at you.
