They also threw weight on Vance and Hines during the final few races of the championship…. Fortunately it made Gaige fasterNHRA is on a roll lately, huh? Throw Tony Stewart out of a race which cost him a chance at the Championship. Disqualified Clay from the Ennis race 7 days after the race was over??? Threw out 4 of Elite's Q2 runs on Friday??? Now throwing out FC runs? All of which have points implications???
Wh?, This is what NHRA always does.Does anybody know what the technical infraction was? It boggles the mind that NHRA could write an article, reference the DSQ but not say what it was for.
Maybe they are mad about the PRO race?NHRA is on a roll lately, huh? Throw Tony Stewart out of a race which cost him a chance at the Championship. NHRA seems to have removed that episodeIf you go and listen to the most recent episode of the NHRA podcast with Lohnes and Pedregon, Tony goes on a tirade on behalf of his bestie(as usual) and gives a case breaking clue.
Edit: I'll save everybody some time. According to him, it's Robert Hight.
Cant be to bitter about it,its at a nhra trackMaybe they are mad about the PRO race?
So what exactly happened that got NHRA's hackles up? As I understood it , NHRA didn't like the way Elite had the system wired and closer inspection of the system started because there was an incident where it didn't shut Erica's car off. Obviously, Elite wouldn't take some sort of shortcut that could potentially endanger a driver so what happened?Wow, tampering with the Leahy safety system is less egregious than unsecured ballast or funny magneto parts in a midpack TAD. Good to know.
On that insider podcast that NHRA deleted Tony also made some highly derogatory comments regarding Clays team for the loose ballast issue. It was a bad mistake and they paid the price. No need to grind them into the ground.
Wh?, This is what NHRA always does.
I wouldn't know. I had FS1 on DVR only to find out they preempted the final rounds with a soccer game: I had no idea they'd been switehed to FS2 and NHRA hasn't posted the final rounds results yet.Hight vs Tasca in the final. Could be redemption for Tasca.
Finals are running now.I wouldn't know. I had FS1 on DVR only to find out they preempted the final rounds with a soccer game: I had no idea they'd been switehed to FS2 and NHRA hasn't posted the final rounds results yet.
Beyond aggravating. Was there an oildown or a crash that pushed the finals past the allotted 3 hours? Could they not push the soccer game up 15 minutes? Were the final rounds previously scheduled to run on FS2? If not, Fox Sports needs to be taken behind the woodshed - along with everybody who had something to do with the header fiasco.
