Nitro tuner shake ups coming

Wow! Holy smokes!

I thought DSR letting Neff go was one of the worst mistakes ever, but this tops that.

Well, usually when someone makes their mind up that they are leaving, which seemed to be the case with Prock, then there is typically not much that anyone can do to change their mind.

Bet a few other teams wished their "wheels were falling off" like JFR. JFR cars are 2nd (-36) 3rd (-72) and 5th (-135) in the current standings. And there is more than enough talented people still employed by JFR to bring them another championship.

John is a survivor and will succeed no matter what it takes.

not with out the proper people which he seems to not give a S**t about.

Pretty much how most businesses operate. You don't want to be here, then I don't want you here. The same day you turn in your notice (whether it was for 2 weeks or 2 months) is the same day you pack your stuff and leave for good. Happens the majority of the time. With that being said, I hate seeing Prock go. But I don't think the wheels are falling off at JFR just quite yet.

LOLOLOL. I gave my current employer a two week notice, a week prior to my official "announcement" and they negotiated with me and my new employer to give them one more week. They are having a hard time replacing me with 12 days left now. I think Force pulled the trigger a bit too quick. Prock gave him a professional and timely heads up and Johnny got butt hurt. It's business...but I can see how Jimmy could be tired of the circus that is John Force racing....too much drama.

Just because "that's business" sure as he!! doesn't make it right. You do the right thing and give an employer notice, which may also include your plans for starting the next job and they cut you loose that day. But go in and quit without a notice and the world is coming to an end. It's a joke. Whether it's company policy or a gentleman's agreement, if a notice of leaving the company is understood, then it needs to be honored by BOTH sides, period. Out of one side of Force's mouth he says that he understands that it's the nature of the business, but out of the other side he tells Jimmy to pack his stuff. Ok.........

How would help to keep him, his heart won't be in it. Best to leave immediately.

Keep him and use him to wrap up the title! Business is cutthroat, you do what's best for the business and not what's best for your heart. Do you think Prock would have purposely threw races so John didn't win? I don't, I think his integrity is above that. John will have his work cut out to win the title now without Jimmy, with Jimmy he would have a decent shot of overtaking Hagan.

First of all, I don't believe for a second that his heart isn't in it for the last 2 races, especially considering he could go out as the champ..........

But even if what you say is true, my point was a general one anyway. The boss should honor a notice, especially if it's done in a professional way because he/she would damn sure not like it if notice wasn't given. I've been privy to MANY instances in business where individuals have gone out of their way to ensure the current employer has adequate time to replace them, only to be out of work for those 2 weeks because the boss got their panties in a wad. It's just not professional as far as I'm concerned.

Could you imagine if Prock actually abandoned ship at this stage of the game with the chance to close the deal? C'mon, man.....

My Dad worked for AIG insurance before that all went awry, and he saw many times when an employee gave notice they were escorted to the door by 2 goons without time to get any of their belongings from their cubicle. That stuff was packed up and mailed to you. Out the door before any vandalism or theft (objects or information) could occur. Just the way big business operates to protect themselves. John may have decided he needed to do just that given how tight the championship points are....

If it were my team, the tuning log books would be locked up after every race just like the accounting books in "The Shawshank Redemption":D

Looks to me like Force hasn't secured a sponsor yet and Prock is just covering his butt. I'm thinking he'll either go with DSR or Kalitta.

Racing isn't exactly "every other business". In a competitive business with multiple trade secrets once a key person let's it be known they are going to work for the enemy you just cannot keep them around. And they shouldn't want to stay. If John goes out in the first round at the last two races with Jimmy tuning, it'll look like he tanked. Jimmy should be glad John let him walk after the cat was out of the bag. The Don would have done the same thing...it fact he has.

I once gave a 2 week notice to my employer and my email account and key card for the building were de-activated by the time I got back to my desk. Within the hour security was watching pack my desk and escorting me to the door. I did still get paid for the last 2 weeks, but it was still off-putting after having worked there for 10 years without incident.

My opinion is only time will tell who comes out on top.

So many rumors flying around that it is hard to know what's going to happen next.

Fasten your seat belts because the next few weeks are going to get very interesting for a number of other teams.
