defense dept., boeing, united, and univ. of nebraska just ran tests regarding aerosol transmission in planes. results were chances of catching covid on airplane were
virtually non-existent, and safer than a home setting, due to rapid air movement and exchange.......imagine how that translates to persons socially distanced talking outside.

Wait, wait, wait ... you mean to tell me people that are in close contact all the time, weren't wearing masks when they were in close contact, outdoors, at a race track, at the top end far from the average spectator?!?!?! OH THE HUMANITY. See how dumb it is when it is written out in plain English?

To be clear, I wear a mask 9 hours a day at work and I wear a mask when going to any public space. I just find your points ridiculous vis a vis drag racers. Show me a video of EE or Alexis walking into a grocery store, church, hospital, restaurant etc without a mask, then we can have a conversation. But at a drag strip, outdoors in very controlled situations far from the crowd ... GTFOH.

Tell ya what. You strap your happy a$$ in a 11,000 HP Nitro Funny Car, light up a HUGE fire (one of the biggest in the past decade) - climb out of the car after not being exposed to 500+ degrees and toxic smoke in your face (even with the fresh air system) - hop out of the car while it's still rolling (cause you can't breathe and it's literally hotter than hell) - and see how you feel about putting a restrictive breathing facemask for the sole purpose of being "socially responsible" on TV.

They don't restrict your breathing. So it wouldn't matter one way or another.

I am NOT a medical specialists by any means, but I think her chance of dieing from smoke inhalation or being burn to death from that fire was greater than catching this crazy ass virus from not wearing a mask
during an interview.

Regardless of what anyone thinks about masks, if NHRA doesn't follow the rules they agreed on with authorities they run the risk of being shut down. NHRA will be first event of it's kind in Vegas maybe due to good results elsewhere, even if fans not wearing masks a lot.

You are not required to wear a mask outdoors in Texas.

There'are millions of experts out there on any subject. It's just a matter of who you want to believe. This reminds me of the Logic class I took as a freshman in college and the Fallacy of Argument from Authority.. Do medical experts out weigh psychological experts or economic experts or any other kind of experts? I think I'm an expert of myself and my surroundings. Does that count?

Actually there is NO way to settle the issue. Lets substitute "Your Expert/My Expert" in the song "Sue Me - Sue You" and we still have "We'll get together and have a bad time" in the end. The reality is "Liars Figure" and "Figures Lie". Pick a side while encompasing the big picture and stick with it. No Ones mind will be changed anyway and the end result will be rationalized to prove to onesself that they were right.
