Another forum I follow has a sub-forum for threads like this called the “Dumbgeon”, where the moderators move these sorts of threads too.

Complain about the masks? Fine, whatever. But to complain about the title $ponsor requesting a product placement for the victor during a television broadcast interview, same as almost any other sponsored racing series anywhere, is a new level of ridiculous. I would bet with a Wally in one hand, not a single driver out there has a problem holding a soda in the other.

It’s great to have the sponsor, but who buys this stuff? I don’t even take the freebies at the track.

I tried a freebie at the track one time. That was one time too many.
