I remember a Plymouth ad that featured Richard Petty's 1971 Road Runner stocker on the inclined ramp of a car hauler, with a line of tires above the toolbox in front of it.
Google "richard petty car hauler" for images, and you'll see an example of it on the first page. I imagine the old farts in NASCAR thing the same think for their sport.
Hopefully the HRR type races will continue to grow, I know when I can make one I have a great time, maybe get my hot rod back out there to, have no interest in the current big show NHRA classes, 1,000 ft tracks killed it for me
