Are there any other remaining events with only 3 Nitro qualifiers? I’m curious to see Friday’s attendance.
Although Seattle is running four sessions, there is only one nighttime session Friday night, then three nitro qualifying sessions on Saturday. Are there any other remaining events with only 3 Nitro qualifiers? I’m curious to see Friday’s attendance.
I recall reading recently that they are sharing this ride during the season. Evidently neither has enough sponsor $$ to pay for the full year of racing.I saw that Hunter Green is driving instead of Blake Alexander this weekend. NHRA.com says “Blake was unable to drive as scheduled.” Wonder what that is about?

I'm pretty sure I heard on NHRA TV, that Blake wasn't feeling good?I recall reading recently that they are sharing this ride during the season. Evidently neither has enough sponsor $$ to pay for the full year of racing.
That is true, but Blake was the one on the entry list for Richmond. I see the next post says he may be sick.I recall reading recently that they are sharing this ride during the season. Evidently neither has enough sponsor $$ to pay for the full year of racing.
Looking forward the seeing him IHRA.I’m glad to see Cameron Ferre is competing this weekend, and qualified #10.
Hopefully, he can go some rounds.
Agree 100%....It's NHRA not WWEI just had to turn the sound down on NHRA.TV because of the ridiculous screaming by Al Tucci. ProMod is such an awesome class. Yesterday when Brian was in the booth it was better. Please stop the screaming hype stuff. Entertaining first round in the Pro Classes.
That hurts getting a fork stuck in me so early for PTW.I just had to turn the sound down on NHRA.TV because of the ridiculous screaming by Al Tucci. ProMod is such an awesome class. I know he has his detractors, but I love Al Tucci. That hurts getting a fork stuck in me so early for PTW.
I hear ya, and it's not just old age. 20-odd years ago I made the mistake of going to the Texas Motorplex for Friday qualifying (the event was in September then) when the ambient temperature was 104 degrees. Half the Pro Stocks in R1 could have qualified for Top Fuel. It was that bad. Never again. That’s why I won’t go to a race in summer with no night racing. They even have three nitro sessions Saturday but the latest is late afternoon when it’ll still be 90 degrees and hardly anyone making a full pull. Yep, grumpy in my old age.
On Fox, Tasca mentioned something about Kenny Koretsky needing prayers, I got the impression that he is perhaps seriously ill. Hope it is nothing too serious.
