I just had to turn the sound down on NHRA.TV because of the ridiculous screaming by Al Tucci. ProMod is such an awesome class. Yesterday when Brian was in the booth it was better. Please stop the screaming hype stuff. Entertaining first round in the Pro Classes.

I read that Facebook post and while what Alexander allegedly did was a dumb move for certain, my God, to read the replies you'd think the man was caught back in the trailer raping someone's 5 year old kid. "He's done". "Save him, help him, rehab", etc. "Seriously bad for the sport, NHRA, the sponsors, the fans..." "same crap Spencer Massey did..."

Alexander probably downed a few too many beers and then got busted for erratically driving a golf cart. That's not good; he could have seriously injured someone. I'm not particularly fond of Blake Alexander but I don't believe he should be crucified and his career ended. The humiliation of being arrested, legal ramifications, having to sit out an entire race and no doubt a bigtime warning from Chad Green will be - and should be - enough. Unless there's something I'm not aware of I say the man deserves a second chance.

It seems to partially explain his unhinged response with Angelle a few races ago. Must be under a lot of pressure and I hope he gets the help he needs. I have had 2 relatives killed by DUI and it's a serious issue.
