Does the Rumor say WHY?

I wouldn't put any stock in the rumors. You could say the same things about many of the venues currently in use.
I'll believe when I see it gone from the next yesr's schedule.
If Nhra pullled out of Topeka...then Baby Dolls would go out of business...and then how are them girls going to feed their kids?![]()

I'm glad I could do my part.Eugene, thanks for dragging some great Baby Doll memories out of the dark recesses of my brain that I didn't realize were in there anymore.
I had a fun Baby Dolls night many years ago after a Topeka race. The place was jumping even though I didn't get there until around 1am.
What really cracked me up is that when I left there was a powder blue Cadillac right up in the front of the parking lot, with a special "preacher" license plate on the back of it.
I guess he was in there "ministering" to one of the girls.

I went in there one night after Qualifying back around '95-'96? Seemed like every Pro crew member was in there!
I hope not, I wish they would move it back to the fall. Seems like the weather is more consistent, and so much less stuff going on (graduations, sports conflicts..etc). Didn't hurt that western auto was a title sponsor, headquartered out of Kansas City gave away and heavily discounted so many tickets back then (fall race and even the double national event years)....had a couple rough "baby dolls" nights as well...
They were just there to eat dinner. It is a restaurant!
