No one at Goodyear is going to publicly say we are worried, I am sure behind closed doors they are not happy about this.
The tire was built to go 340 MPH and has not been redeveloped or changed since. They are playing in the safety margin of the tire right now. Odds are nothing will ever happen but if it does watch out. I have witnessed these tires come apart in testing and it aint pretty.

I used to call on the Goodyear Innovation Center. They’ve never been concerned with the speeds. It keeps them busy innovating.

As long as they eliminate the shake that comes with them. We had a set of Hoosiers about 10-12 years ago that we got off a retired alcohol racer that smoked just like the old days. Too this day it's the worst shake I've ever experienced. I had a headache for about a week.
