"Schumacher Speaks his Mind " (1 Viewer)

I do believe he'll do just fine.

I also believe the dreaded data book is over-rated.

I'm with you David. I also think Tony handles himself in a very professional manner, and it seems like he doesn't get ruffled too easily, he welcomes challenges that come his way. I think that even if they had NONE of AJ's records, and hired a newbie to tune the car, somehow that kid would end up with race wins. His attitude and determination are a key ingredient to that team, IMO. Plus he can drive...

It's an interesting article on Competition Plus. Drag Racing Internet Magazine - Competition Plus.com - SCHUMACHER SPEAKS HIS MIND

I am not surprised he is still doing well with Alan gone. The real test will be next year when Alan has made changes to improve performance in the next year. Will Mike Green be able to keep up once the "data Book" Alan has left a copy of, is completely obsolete.

Tony will not lose any races due to poor driving.
The crew chief still makes the car go fast ... or not

The other side of the argument is that they were a qualifier before Alan but couldn't go arounds. They were looking bad with the Army sponsorship when Alan came on board.
