my big question is why is a safer combo is as been told not allowed - is not safety inask for wheel torque specs see if you get the answer with out checking with the pinnacle sitter-
If the liner is safer as we have been told for many a years is it not allowed- is not safety part of Walley's NHRA motto?ask for wheel torque specs see if you get the answer with out checking with the pinnacle sitter-
There are wheels on the market known as “bead liners”, which is a wheel with beadlocks that also accept liners. It’s a new-ish design. Elite did not MODIFY any wheels, they bought them like that. The issue is that the liner is not called out in the rulebook as being legal in PS like it is in TA and PM.As far as I know there is no wheel that has a bead lock that you run a liner with -Putting the second valve stem in is needed to run the liner this is a not ever been [illegal] to my knowledge there is a print as to how and where to put it .these are totally different approaches as how to clamp the sidewall some use screws is this a legal mod. to the wheels? Racestar has one, as does Sander. It works just like a liner wheel, but has an outer beadlock ring that bolts on.What wheel co. and how does it work-Yes I know there are wheels called bead liners
What is it suppose to do-other than look like a bead lock?Racestar has one, as does Sander. It works just like a liner wheel, but has an outer beadlock ring that bolts on.
I might of became a Richard Freeman fan after that interview. He is relaxed and speaks like my Texas ass does. Its not an inner tube, it's an inner liner that acts as the bead lock. They are legal in Pro Mod and the Alcohol classes. But not Pro Stock.

there IS a wheel being manufactured that IS a beadlock AND is made for a liner. I saw them at PRI this past winter . one of the wheel reps took time to explain the concept to me and claimed the pro mods that had tested them picked up a few mph with them. they called the wheel " liner locks". so if Elite were running this specific wheel, that means the wheel was NOT modified. Also the rule states Beadlock wheels BUT doesn't say you can't put a liner in it. so did they break the rule?

With the fuel change, there were going to be teams who's programs were gonna need to be revised. Easy way to make it seem like they figured out the fuel before everyone else, while already knowing that the tire thing would get them a hun or two, quietly...I'm confused, if the 8 year old tires are the culprit for the KB advantage then why break them out now? Elite has been running equal or better than KB for the better part of the last decade ???
