Funny cars go "boom" at times. It's the nature of the beast. If TP is scared about the fires, he should move to Top Fuel. Changing to a smaller fuel pump is not going to fix anything.

Actually a smaller fuel pump would help,not solve,but help......Less fuel less violent the explosion.....But more needs to be done for those that want 1/4 mile back.......What was it that Snake said after the change to 1000 ft......6 months they will be blowing up again!

TP is a whiner, how many cars have had such violent explosions like his ? Not many if any
the 1000 ft racing makes for closer racing
the 4 wide, interesting but must be confusing for the drivers Where is Barnum and Baily when you need them. Its a 4 ring circus
make the amount of fuel STAY where it is now, no more increases allowed.
100gpm is plenty. Surprised the heads stay on as well as they do.
Instead of TP throwing rocks at the amount of fuel issue perhaps he should look at his tune up and/or crew chief.
But then who wants to work for a pro whiner.

I would pretty near be the LAST guy to give T Ped any support, but I'll stick my neck out here.
I think he has guts.
ANYONE that straps into one of those bombs HAS to.
And I think he's right, with so much volume through these motors, something VERY bad is coming.
My modus operandi has NOT to get into negativity or chicken littleisim, (well, EXCEPT where federal agency's are involved, then i put a little 'tin foil' on
).
I ain't a fan of his, but he has 'skin in the game', and his AZZ in the seat.
Many here shrug off his comments like driving one of these is plain fun and no big deal, like an expensive carnival ride, guess again............
