can anyone please explain how this could possibly be 28 years ago?!!......not quite to 300" chassis, not quite to one gear only,
not quite to sub 4seconds, one car/one team/one trailer, absolutely packed grandstands, cackling nitro, fc long burnouts,
big daddy behind the mic + mac(at the event) & steve calling the action, winston...... what an amazing time in the history of the nhra.

last year subbing for greg & summit, jimmy alund qualified in stock elim. field driving a AA/S '70 nova

Pro Stocker that actually look like the real factory model. Glad NHRA is working on changing the class, hope they go with more stock appearing body for each manufacturer, knowing the teams have a lot invested in the 500 cuin program but maybe see about phase in LS design in future.
