Rule question ??

At least twice I noticed a crewman push a F/C into the beams at Vegas 2.
I thought the rules said a driver MUST stage the car under it's own power.
I don't have a new rule book, just wondering if this is legal...or not.

Either way it's dangerous and should be stopped.

Crewman are not allowed to touch the car AFTER it is pre-staged

Generally the guys pushing the car forward will only go up to where the crew chief is standing. Crew chief will then turn the screw on the barrel valve and give the driver the go ahead and the driver will roll it into the beams with the car under its own power

Yer right Mike. I just took a quick look at the tape. Appears that the pushers don't touch the cars after the CC's last touch. Thanks again sir.
