You sound just like a jr parent. Me me me
No I don't, we sold ours eight years ago to a family that started racing jrs and are trying to continue in the sport. I feel that motorsports of all kinds need starter classes for kids for the sport to continue. Racing in front of a stage like a national event whether it be drag racing moto cross dirt track ect. If that gets one more kid racing that means, there is a 50% chance that that kid will continue to race in the future and that includes bringing new fans for the sport from that kids family. I sport will die if the only racers are getting closer the grave. You have to have new blood coming in for it to continue.

Today on MavTV, Tony Stewart, Lyn St. James, Sarah Fisher and Linda Vaughn were discussing some of the issues they each encountered when they first entered motorsports. After Stewart talked about going 330 mph in a TF, St. James started talking about the NHRA Junior Dragster program. She was a big fan of it and thought other forms of motorsports needed a similar introductory program in order to get younger potential drivers experience in order to ensure long term viability of their respective sport.

I think we have established that not everyone loves every class. Not exactly ground breaking information.

If NASCAR ran everything they sanction on the same day and same track, I'm sure there would be people that would:

Hate the Modifieds. Hate the Dirt Track cars. Hate the Trucks. Hate the Super Late Models. Hate the compacts. Need I go on? The are all part of NASCAR and they all have their own fans.

But, NASCAR runs different divisions on different days and different tracks, so if you Hate the Trucks! You don't go watch the trucks.

And I guarantee you that if the NASCAR Modifieds had a chance to showcase their division at Daytona during the Cup event they would kill for the chance.

NHRA Runs every class on the same day at the same event. And people have the opportunity/advantage of watching or not watching whatever classes they want.

I bet you never considered this.....
A guy has a Super Gas or Super Comp car. His co-workers or neighbors know nothing about Drag Racing, but they decide to come to the event to see what their buddy does. They see Nitro Cars, or Factory Stock cars (if they have a Cobra Jet) and become fans.

Or, a kid with a Jr. Dragster tells his friends at school "I'm going to be racing this weekend at he Nationals!" You should come out and see me.

If anyone can tell me why that should stop, or how it's not worth the time the cars have on the track Saturday and Sunday, I'm all ears.

Back when I raced karts, the way to formula one was thru go carts, I wouldn’t be surprised if it still is today, jr dragsters are very good for the sport, new blood at a early age will keep our sport growing

That sounds great Alan, put a class of the juniors on nitro. Not that you have the final decision, but, just a thought.

Your right once in this conversation the rest is just your one sided opinion.
The End
Look in the mirror buddy. Its not an opinion its a fact. You jr dragster parents sure get offended easy. Bunch of karens
