NHRA's New TV package

Why dont you ask shannon LOL
I just want to confirm, because reading this drivel is actively making me more stupid than I already am....Is it your position that the admins here are actively trying to sabotage you in playing a game that is free to everyone with a Nitromater account and in which there is absolutely no prize in finishing first for? Do I have this correct?

May I offer you a link to some light reading since you clearly have a lot of time on your hands, bid you adieu, and wish you the best of luck.

So Fox, and then CW after Indy, will get JUST Sunday coverage, while Flo will get all qualifications and any specialty events (Callouts, PM, etc), correct?

pretty soon the new TV package will be slowed down as well.

I thought Flo was going to live-stream eliminations, but I could have misread that. Hence my earlier comment about hopefully to TV timeouts if they in fact are. I assume Fox/CW will air tape delayed eliminations.

Normally I enjoy talking trash and fun banter but this.......

If I could slow the game down do you think I'd be sitting so far back in the standings.

The only thing I will fight you on with this is that technology is moving at the speed of light in that field.... Broadcast audio will be impeccable in years, but noticeably different in two. Lets hope this is adopted by Fox, CW, NHRA or Flo to bring that experience into your space.

Martin, you may not realize their are two threads going on here. The slowing down being referred to is some joking going on because another poster is claiming two moderators are purposely slowing his computer down so he can't get 1st place in the Pick The Winner game!

Back to the New TV Package. Don't know how you watch Nhra but many of us are complaining about the production on Nhra.TV. The three announcers often are talking or music is playing when we should be hearing the sounds of the cars, burnouts, the cackling nitro cars pulling up to the line etc. And the sound is subpar in all classes. I think it was back in the ESPN days when you were instructed to turn up your volume just before the tree was activated and not one word until they were coasting with the chutes out. I don't get Fox so I don't know if it's different but wouldn't Nhra be using the Fox equipment? I started watching on TNN and Diamond P Sports and those shows are still on Youtube and you can hear the difference. I realized what we were missing when I started watching Clay Millican's and now Rob Wendland's homemade Youtube videos. Clay for sure has a microphone or microphone's in his dragster, you can even hear the sound the rear end makes at the top end. These guys are not using super "high tech" equipment, it's how it's being used and it's better then a worldwide broadcast! I hope Nhra.TV (Flo Racing) can move into the 21st Century in 2027.
