RUMOR MILL - NHRA DODGE PROGRAM TO HAVE A NASCAR CONNECTION? | Competition Plus
The word floating around the pits in Indianapolis is the NHRA Mopar Dodge program will have a NASCAR connection in 2022. Could the branding be on a satellite team? There's nothing official but the rumor seems to be getting steam with each passing event.

Dodge/Mopar is not in NASCAR.
Sounds more like a drag racing team will have a connection with a stock car racing team.
PS these links have existed for a long time in some way or another. Reher-Morrison built cylinder heads and intakes for Beadle's NASCAR team and eventually Hendrick before they brought their engines in house. WJ has done engine development for GM and Richard Childress for YEARS, up to and including the recent fuel injection conversion in NASCAR. Jason Line was an engine builder for Gibbs, and if Line decided he wanted to go back to NASCAR, there would be a line outside his door to procure his services.

With the amount of money Ford has invested in Stewart it would be surprising if they don't have him locked up exclusively Nine ways from Sunday.

Yes, Rick Ware. I think he is the guy with the NurtecODT sposorship. He is also in Indy Car with Dale Coyne (Owner) and Romain Grosjean (Driver)
So if Mopar goes with Stewart, what does this mean for their Factory Stock program. Does Stewart Racing take it over, stays with Schumacher, with a different driver, or just folds up?
