Not a huge Force fan but totally understand the relevance of his presence in the sport. That said, finding it disturbing that no information is forthcoming about a 2015 manufacturer being signed. Tick toc, tick toc....................

I don't understand. Why would JF put it out there that he had an announcement at SEMA and then at the PRI show and not say anything about why he hadn't made the announcement yet. Is he trying to stay relevant in the off season? Is he trying to show sponsors that he can market them all year and not just during the season?

I don't think it is that big of a deal. Sure it would be nice to get some money from a manufacturer, but they have everything they need to go racing in '15 from a body/engine/support vehicle stand point.

Hi Joe,

Well, I am a big fan of nostalgia funny cars, and I was even involved with them for a few years. To me the NHRA big show has become stale over the last 5 or 6 years. (maybe longer) The count down, and 1000 foot racing hasn't helped much either. However, there is no doubt that big show cars are still the baddest race cars on the planet so I will always be a fan.

Oh, and I also read the classic funny car site every day. But just like this site, I rarely post over there...
