Let's say you won a rediculous amount of money (say the powerball at 400 mil or something) and wanted to field a top fuel, funny car or pro stock team.

Who would you hire as driver and crew chief, and also what sponsor would you want?

Rules: Can be anyone currently from the fuel ranks, or you can pick someone from the alky ranks. Must be also be not retired. Also, can pick a driver that is looking for a ride but currently not in one. You can also field a 2-car team but CANNOT exceed 2 cars for all fields. Example: if you have 2 floppers you cannot add a dragster.

I'll go first:

I would field a 2 car top fuel team.

Team 1:

Driver: Brady Kalivoda - excellent driver, don't know why he hasn't been hired yet.

Crew Cheif: Don Garlits.

Sponsor: Either Circuit City or Canon.

Team 2:

Driver: Karen Stalba - will be an instant fan favorite and I happen to think she is good, just her TAD operation is a little under-funded right now.

Crew chief: Eddie Hill.

Sponsor: Either Olay or Cover Girl Cosmetics.

There's two independant teams in Edmonton fielding nitro funny cars, Jason Duchene and Randy Bykowski. I believe they're the only ones in Canada actually. I'd phone em up and ask if I cut you a cheque for a couple million each would you let me hang out with ya?

With that kind of coin though, I'd be fast tracking myself to owning a pro modified car to drive myself. I know next to nothing about what it takes but I'd be learning real fast.

That's what I would do, work my way up to driving a pro mod car while owning the 2 teams. As I like to do things different my body would be something cool, like a '79 Cadillac Coupe DeVille or if they still allow late model designs, an '04 Eldorado.

my fantasy teams would be- in top fuel- driver- doug kalitta- tuner- alan johnson. funny car- driver- tony pedregon- tuner- austin coil, co crew chief- jimmy prock, with a mustang body ( thier the nicest looking ones out there ). in pro stock- driver- dave connley- crew chiefs- greg anderson, jason line. pontiac gto car. all with big sponsors like fed-ex, wal-mart, hersheys ect ect
