The Nytrolympix at Hockinhheim is a barn burner. If you have not been, you need to go.
They have this thing on Saturday night called "The Show". They break for dinner, then come back and run the most incredible stuff down the track. Without the number of Lawyers we have, they can run stuff down the track, we would never see here.

We are going to the finals in Santa Pod next month.

Jay, I know you've been there several times, I've been to Hockenheim three times myself, once was a part of my honeymoon (good gal huh!). The late 80's and 90's were a great show. I was consulting on Alky cars there. The later years there have been a few problems with traction caused by the F-1 people demanding that all rubber and glue had to be gone, even though they only used part of the 1320. They tried hard each year to get it in shape, but this year was a super effort, Pro Mods and Alky cars lived with it well, but T/F struggled and P/S wouldn't run again at all, after Q1.
It was on the internet live, but do to the 9hr. time difference, I only got to watch the "Night Show" live. Here the fans would boo and throw things on the track with just some squirts with smoke, but the fans there went nuts, they are so starved for drag racing !
Have fun at the finals at the Pod, the world's quickest and fastest all asphalt track ! (Also been there 6 times)

Looks very much like drag racing does in the USA.

I find it amassing that with computers and Skype you can be a crew cheif based in the USA and do all the tuning from the comfort of your home.

It's a great world we live in today.

Just my opinion. Jimbo
