Thanks, Martin!!! You're a class act. I was pleasantly surprised at how well the offense played last night. Az just seemed to have an off night, just like we did against Texas Tech. Congrats to Arizona and the great season they had. The only downer was Niles Paul's antics in the end zone and the impression they left on many people. Niles is a classy young man, and the end zone performance was way out of character. Nevertheless, it made him (and us) look really bad. Rumor in the Cornhusker state has it that it was dealt with sternly by the Pelini Bros. (shoot, hope they didn't lock him in a closet or anything.....:D)
Wow..Terry..I was worried since the last time I saw the Huskers they just flat out kicked as@ on the defense..but 3 & out..3 & out. I was pleasantly surprise by their offense. This bodes well for the future..I like Bo.

WooHoo go Navy WHAT!!!

Dominated. Who'd they play, Justin? Did Mizzou even get off the bus? 3rd quarter they show'ed up..but man..Navy did well.

Yep, I was surprised. I figured Mizzou would win by 14. Navy dominated the whole game. Mizzou scored on their first drive but that was it. I have to say though, it was kinda boring to watch though b/c both just ran, ran, ran for the 3/4 of the game. Not alot of passing.

Thanks, David! You were not alone being surprised by our offense. Glad we are getting away from the "Osborne 2 yd and a cloud of dust" stuff we started seeing at mid season. Next year could be good for the Huskers...heck, maybe we can even finally beat Texas! And both you and Justin are right--Mizzou was a big disappointment against Navy. As Johnny Mopar will tell you, they are a better team than what we saw against Navy, but on any given day....watching the Ohio State-Oregon contest right now. Gonna be a good one. Teri with an I, are you on? I'm a big Oregon fan, but just for you I'm pulling for the Buckeyes today!

Wow how sad these last two years have been as a Wolverine fan. I sit here finding myself rooting for ducks... FLIPPIN DUCKS:mad::eek:

Really happy for State getting it done. Shut 'em down..and very un-Tressell like doing it..hehe.

Loved the aggressive approach..and Pryor is a stud!! Next year looks even better..and I think they said the Ducks have 18 returning as well.

They should end up behind OSU, and ahead of PSU.

Texas, Bama, OSU, Boise St, Florida, Iowa, Penn St.. (thats giving the nat champ games 1 and 2)
The Big 10 was by and far the best bowl conference this year in big games.

LSWho?

I hear ya, man... I'm about to have a similar predicament in the BCS Championship game. I may actually have to cheer for <shudder> Texas.

Come on Tom, You know ya wanna!!! I ACTUALLY cheered for OU last year against Florida...even though it should have been Texas playing them!!!:D:eek::cool:

Hi Tim! Karl's gonna hate me, but I'm gonna be pulling for the 'Horns because of all the support the Huskers got in the past from our "adopted" fan from Texas! Should be a good one. I'll be watching. We're having another f***ing snow storm here...might as well watch a good game!

By the way, anyone think the Huskers' pretty good performance (at least I think so:D) in the Holiday Bowl will be enough to get them into the top 15 in the final polls?

I'm pulling for Texas because if this trend keeps up, pretty soon some jacknut at ESPN will be calling the SEC Championship game the real National Championship game...I'm just sayin'.

I gotta admit I am torn.....I normally will pull for whatever SEC team is in the championship game.......but my LSU roots are holding me back from cheering for Bama..LOL.......Should be a good game though.............GEAUX SAINTS! :)

Hey Terry! Thanks for the support! I know it may be especially difficult from the way the Big12 title game finished (I would be angry too). I'm almost certain that the Huskers would be in the top 15 final polls...the last 2 games they played were DAMN good. Very scary to be in the Big12 with a team like the Huskers on the rise! I predict next year for Texas will be a "rebuilding year" with having to replace Colt as a 4year starter and several other key players as well. Hopefully, Texas can pull it out tonight and Colt can solidify his legacy as the best Texas QB ever instead of being like several other Texas stars (all sports) who were great, but never "won the big one".
Hook em Horns!!!
