If you read Tim's post he is not talking about bashing drivers...but bashing people who are simply asking questions about the actions of team Force which happen to be in conflict with your personal opinion. This is a message board....some people's opinions hold more water due to thier vast experience in the field.

I think I have gotten bashed a hell of alot more than I have done any bashing.

There are lots of ways to look at what you consider to be facts, Paul.

This was last week in Seattle:

1st round Ashley= .081
2nd round= .098 but when T.Ped is cutting .056 lights and stays together he would have won this event.

1st round Wilk= .103
2nd round= .105
3rd round= .105
Final= .127

Ashley has been averaging better lights than the winner of the event(s). This week Ashley had a .070 1st round and smoked..Wilk had an .090.

She's actually doing fine and come countdown time..she'll be in the thick of it I figger.

Tim has had a bracket car, Man..and I'm glad to see him peak this time of the year..rather than dominate and fade in the (cough cough) countdown.

I was looking at Ashley vs. her competitors, not who won the race. Per the last National Dragster, Ashley has been left on 78% of the time. To me, it is all about the R/T you cut when you are racing someone not what is your R/T vs. someone else who is not in the other lane. As was mentioned earlier, this weeks reaction time was aided by the fact she staged deep, in fact almost put out the top bulb. If history is any indicator, I think the favorite to win the title in the Countdown has the last name Pedregon.

I believe that all the chat and rooting against the other guy is great for the sport. It can raise the hair on the back of your neck. It's the Chocolate Vanilla Swirl Frosty at Wendy's! Making things interesting is a good thing. I mean the last thing I want to do is consult a PR rep before I type on the Mater!

I may be wrong, but I don't recall bashing any driver. Well, besides calling Baze a whiner, which I believe is true, I don't think that was bashing. Just to be sure I'm going to check some of my previous posts just to make sure. If I did, I will be the 1st to apoligize!!!!!

If you really want to judge how quick (or slow) a driver is to their opponent, put your recorder in slow- mo and compare when the butterflys open or the header flames come up. That is the true tell tale, not the reaction timers.

beyond being good on the tree its also important to be consistant. Car can be tune and you can stage differently if the driver is cutting consistant lights

Like it or not, Force is an icon of the sport!!!!!! So quit whining about it and just deal with it. If you don't like it, don't watch. Like i used to say when Whit started his cryin', WAH WAH WAH WAH WAH WAH SHUT UP ALREADY!!!!!

Oh god, another expert on fuel driving. Please, give me a break!!! Let's see, I have heard opinions from such drivers as "The Snake", "Fast Jack", I know ya'll will blast me for this but I can't remember the guy's name,I think something King, that they had on the show, commented on her good driving and the way she has come along in the sport. And I know there are others. So I guess you can join Tony in the "I know it all" club!!!! Cut the girl some slack she is doin' just fine. Oh, and I will ask you too, where is your fuel funny car time slip? I asked Tony the same thing and had a few people say," Oh, don't go there, Lynn"! But I have yet to see any time slips from him, either!!! Soooooooooooo????????

It's past halfway in the season and the pesky Tony Pedregon has the points lead. This is NOT good for the other funny car teams. Capps and Ashley better figure out how to beat this guy, or there will be a Pedregon at the podium in November for the third staight year. Wilk knows how to beat him.
