Anyone heard an update on Terry Edwards?

He crashed in the Brainerd semifinal. Last thing they said over the PA was "conscious and talking".

I'm wondering the same thing myself. I heard basically the same thing.... that he was conscious and talking with the rescue workers. I do know they used the jaws of life to cut the top of the cage off so they could get him out. The car was missing a front wheel and at least one rear tire was flat.

From what I hear he is sore but otherwise OK.

Too bad, he is a great driver and I think that water coming up thru the surface may have finished another car.

You're right, Don. I talked to Kim Cheney earlier tonight and she said that Terry's wife told her other than sore, he's fine. As you might expect, the car's totaled; they're hoping to save the engine.
