Another fatal guardwall crash

...Back before guardwalls or guardrails, lots of cars went off the side of the track, driver lifted, slowed to a safe stop, no impact. That same car today would hit the wall, possibly hurting driver + damage car...

Back then, cars were a bit slower too, Paul.... A bit too much speed now to believe that the cars wouldn't be a giant handfull of rolling, tumbling Mixmaster with the top left off...

And how much speed could be scrubbed off in the 50 feet/ .25 of a second that a loose car off power would cover that distance in that period of time?
