Yes, I agree. Paul knows the rules going in, so this is not a surprise. Just disappointing. Best way to avoid this next year is to make the top 10. He came a long way this year so I would think he could be an easy top 10 car next year.
As to Krista working for Paul Lee, they seem to have a good relationship because Paul's companies provide some sponsorship support for Krista when she races her dragster.
I wish them both the best. I have always been a John Medlen fan and happy to see him guiding the next generation.
the rules are there in black and white. paul and his team (627 points) came within one round of the top 10, running one less race than dejoria (641 points)

Not true , he had TJ's crew for 3 years. So they didn't have a lot of success tuning the car and that Cruz's fault ?
They were runner up for championship the year before moving to Cruz and then nothing. He’s had other excellent crews and never Runs well. I know Nitro is really tricky, but too many great teams that couldn’t win trophies with him. He must second guess them or some other micro manager type stuff.
And I actually root for Cruz. One of my best friends is a Snap On truck guy. Everyone Cruz comes to the line I’m hoping he lays down a great pass, it’s just few and far Between unfortunately

Seeing as they had TJ's car hauling the season before that, yes. Aaron Brooks has BT3 cooking. the list goes on and on. CC's go to CPR and cant get the car out of its own way, but had success before and after CPR. Not hard to find the common denominator there if unless you're in denial.
Well in this case, the coach is also the owner.

Devil’s advocate, how do we know that Cruz’s team could apply his car to their previous success with different parts and pieces? Not to mention, I would say it was a huge advantage having all of the other Schumacher teams to pull help and data from. I assume the Schumacher teams spared no expense to get a win. Maybe Cruz doesn’t have a win at any cost on mentality. Let’s face it, winning doesn’t necessarily make you profitable. Could having rolling billboards and hospitality be all Snap-On is looking for? None of us know. The real common denominator is we are all ignorant to what’s really going on.

when JC came over to Cruz they set the car up with identical parts from DSR that he ran on TJ's car. It would never perform like TJ's car.
