"Legging it down through there"

"He was on the chip"

"Striking the Hides"

If you said these terms to most people, they would be totally confused.......

10, 10 and 10................(old school)

(10% on the blower, 10 degrees in the mag and 10% + the label in the tank.)

Late.............Mitch

"blowed it up" - Bob Fey

"Okay gotta go put a diaper under my clutch in case I bang the Blower during my holeshot" Tom Bodett from Motel 6 he's "gettin it...kinda"

"round number next" - the Late Sean Leary from Raceway Park

"bulbish" Alan Reinhart

One of if not my all time favorite-as I am walking through the pits going to my seat in the grandstands and I pass someone I know I always say -"It's Time for Round Number Next!!:cool::D"

I heard a bracket racer that was in a dragster say about beating a slow car he had to spot a long ways: "I reeled him in like a big cat fish."

Some of mine would be..

Dragin' the bumper
Dry Hop
Go Pedal
"You could see both doors from the starting line"

Favorite would be:
Engine on a stick (or "on a Steeeek" for you Jeff Dunham fans)

Anyone say, "Drive around him".... Meaning the guy was beat on a holeshot but had too much horsepower and beat him anyway.

Since we're doing favorite driver quotes, my comes from John Force. When asked by a reporter what it feels like to be an 8-cylinder run all the way he said, "Being on a good Funny Car run is a lot like having sex. Anything over 5 seconds and you are doing it wrong."
