Not sure how this will stimulate growth within the nitro racing community, but we are told the NHRA’s official fuel supplier will bill teams $1680 per 42 gallon drums. We just wonder how this kind of a price from an official fuel supplier when many of the teams are racing for a reduced purse...

As of 3/20 a 42 gal drum from Don Schumacher Nitro Sales cost us $1200.

NHRA nitro Is around 1800.and some change. Ouch

In Australia I can tell you at one point last year we were paying $1900 AUD, so around $1600 USD.
