Wait, that happened to a JFR car.Hey, I have an idea, ... forget to take the throttle stop off after the burnout.![]()
Points and a half at Indy this year will also make it more valuable to dive.
I hate that it happens but fully understand why it does. I wouldn't not want to win that way(Like Melanie Troxel) but would help a teammate if they needed/wanted it. Also, there are times where the team has no say and a sponsor will make the call. It was going on long before DSR and Force had their teams as well so we can probably stop blaming them for "inventing" it.
I have never liked the idea of whoever had the best e.t. in the last round gets lane choice.
I would really like the see the N.H.R.A. simply let a spectator pull numbers out of a hat for each driver and for each round use a different spectator. I think we all would be surprised who wins!
I have watched so many drag races where one person gets put in the crappy lane and has to figure out a way to try and get down a lane that is not properly prepared in the first place.
There always seems to be a problem with getting both lanes properly prepared for a professional drag race and when you see it at Indy it really hits home just what a poor job is being done.
At least it would be a fairer way of doing it instead of one person always getting a much better lane choice which is what happens now.
Go ahead and shoot me because I said what others have talked about for years.

Which lane was the "Crappy Lane"? The one Robert ran 4.045 309.77 in or the one Jack ran 4.058 310.77 in? I was having a hard time telling but as an "expert" why don't you explain it to me.
AR
DITTO. The lanes were very equal all weekend.
Enjoyed your tutorial Friday night with TJ too, Alan.

I find it interesting that Courtney, or JF didn't seem to be to concerned about how Courtney's car has been running, and not making the top 10 this year.
