It's 90% max.
then he mentions the green flames from a header pipe and says its valve guides?? It's head gaskets , pretty sure.
this took place on Fridays q1 show
Last time I was sitting in the stands with Chuck Worsham he told me that green flames mean its burning aluminum.
So I guess that means Heads or Pistons right?
Interesting, copper burns green. Aluminum powder burns blue/white. Not sure what color solid aluminum burns. Could be the aluminum in pistons is alloyed with copper? Anyway, chuck would know better.
We have a winner.I think teams usually run less than 90% but bump it up for Denver. I *think* the thing NHRA allows for Denver is more blower over drive.
Lmfao "If I talk too much, Tony will want to punch me" omg...That is great they can overcome their differences and make jokes about it.
Right you are. 50% max overdrive at all races except Denver, where 70% over is allowed.I think teams usually run less than 90% but bump it up for Denver. I *think* the thing NHRA allows for Denver is more blower over drive.
