I heard the comment and never even considered that nor contemplated it, and was actually surprised when I logged on here and read that someone thought that is what he meant.

There may be more folks than you thought who noticed Dons comment.... 7 pages at Comp Plus. Same as here pretty equally divided on the take on it.

I think one thing everyone is forgetting in these discussions about Don's intent, is that his son races these 330 MPH rockets. No matter what your opinion of Don is, do you think he would consciously attack another teams safety standards or call into question another team's tragedy? No matter how fierce the competition is in the boardrooom or on the track, no one wants to see anyone get hurt or worse, especially when you are going to turn right around and strap your own kid into one of these monsters .....

I will cut the Shoe some slack and accept his explanation at face value.

After reading this thread I can see why reality TV is so fricken strong...

Don, don't you know you can't say anything? You can't have feelings or even a sense of humor for if you do someone will take it wrong and give ya a shot to the pills... I still think that some think it is their place to criticize the folks in the know....

I have learned that when you play with idiots....they bring you down to their level........ and then kick your azz with experience!
