Favorite part of the game coming up...that good old fashinoned "National Anthem!" Then what looks like an awesome game!

Turned it off at half time. That was enough to see that the league orders and the fix was in again.

WOW
WHAT A GAME!!!

My congrats to the Cards; they played like the champs that they are!!!

The Cards (and others) could beat the Steelers but not the Steelers and their home grown refs. Anyone who thinks that game calling was fair and balanced, doesn't know the game. It would have been fun to see that game when called fairly across the board. Very good and competitive and for the Steelers fans who think they dominated our lowly Arizona team, you better thank your lucky stars the refs did their parts.

Does Donaghy ref football now?

As a Pittsburgher for the first 18 years of my life, how great was that one! Eases the pain of how bad the Pens are doing right now. They're going crazy in the streets back in the old neighborhood. Good times!

Hey you Steelers fans, congrats on winning and breaking the record number of SB wins! There was a lot of heart in that game. I think I even saw Dick LeBeau break a 4th quarter sweat! Congrats again!

You and I don't agree often, but we do on this subject. What a crock!

Check your pulse and temp immediately. Something could be seriously amiss and we don't want to lose you. This one sounds serious!

p.s. Thanks for the vote of confidence. I have no doubt it was a tough decision for you.

I may not know the game like you do, but here are a few things I know:

1. The penalty difference was 7 to 11 in favor of Pittsburgh, but maybe instead of "the fix" being in, the fact that there were 4-times as many Steelers in the game with Super Bowl experience had something to do with the mistakes made by the Cards. The roughing the passer call was ticky-tack to say the least, but the rest of the calls were hardly blatant misses. As a matter of fact, neither team did themselves any favors with regards to penalties.

2. The defensive player of the year runs back a 100 yard pick without getting any further than 5-feet from the out-of-bounds line. How in the hell does someone that big and slow not get tackled being pinned to the out-of-bounds line for 100 yards?! That's pathetic.

3. The story of the game to me was the Cardinal defense. Everyone knew Warner would do what he did, but that defense showed up in a big way.

4. Like him or not, Big Ben got-er-done. That was a fantastic drive no matter how you look at it, and if you can't give him and Holmes some credit for that final play, then maybe you don't know the game.

Wouldn't it have been better for the NFL if the Cardinals had won? Warner and the Cinderella Cardinals come from behind to beat the big bad Steelers.

Did anyone else notice on Fitzgerald's first TD, that he may not have had control of the ball before it hit the ground. It's a conspiracy!

If it were fixed, they had at least two opportunities to help the Steelers out on those challenges that were overturned. Both calls were reversed in favor of the Cardinals.

And a holding in the end zone that took back a first down and instead resulted in a safety? How does that help the steelers? Both teams made some bad penalties. The steelers maybe just played better when they had to and got it done.

This stuff cracks me up! LMAO!!!

The game lives up to it's billing with the matchups going in, both teams made some great plays towards the end and it was won on a great play with 35 seconds left......................................................but the fix was in!!! LMAO!!!

Apparently, nobody here saw the block in the back on the INT returned for a TD, or the excessive celebration that wasn't called on Holmes that would have added 15 yards on the kickoff, or wondered why that last play wasn't even reviewed before Pitt snapped the ball? I'm not saying the fix was in but there were several strange calls/non-calls.

It may go down as the second greatest play in Steeler history.....Ben to 10. The immaculate reception is still numero uno in my books.

C'mon, Barry! You could lock yourself in a room and go over any game with a fine-toothed comb and find at least 100 calls that are missed every game. If you want to get right down to it, holding (like fouls in the paint in basketball) could literally be called on every down. It's the dumba$$ personal foul penalties that drive you nuts, and both teams had their share of those.

It just kills me how three years ago the Steelers didn't deserve the win because Ben played like sh!t, and this year Ben plays nearly flawless with the exception of the tipped pick, and he only wins because the fix was in. The poise he showed in that 2-minute drill resulting in the winning play was one for the ages and no matter how much whining people do, you can't overshadow it.

Warner said it best; both teams made great plays down the stretch and had opportunities to win the game, but Pittsburgh made the latest one.

A fine tooth comb wasn't needed in the examples I gave. The "No Fun League" and their celebration penalties are ridiculous but are called all year long. I didn't have a team in that game anyway, so it didn't really matter to me one way or the other. I could see Cardinal fans being extremely upset over the lack of review on that fumble/incomplete pass.

PS: Players don't talk about referees/calls due to heavy fines they incur.

Those NFL defensive ends are way faster than you think. I'd be willing to bet his 40 yard dash time is under 5 seconds and that is blazing fast for a man of his size.

He also got a nice head start, a couple good blocks and gave a tremendous effort.

i love reading the posts of jealous fans whose own team probably sucks too bad to ever reach a super bowl, let alone win 6. the officials called a fair game. get over it, haters.
