I think the bonfire is a great thing for the school and fans!!! UT has the "Hex rally" on Mondays before the game!!! Traditions are a fun thing for rivalry games...I just wish Texas A&M would support the bonfire instead of having to have it off campus.
 
I agree....it SHOULD be on Campus!

Thanks Kelly for posting those pics for me. We took those last weekend down at the campus and we had them done as our Christmas cards to send out:D .Cheesy yes I know but it was fun and they turned out great.
Terry, the WHOLE family is burnt orange all the way!!! Looking forward to that match up here soon!!
 
I am too, Tim! Gonna take a minor (or major) miracle for the Huskers to overcome a great team like the Horns, but hope springs eternal, right? You guys take care of the Aggies this weekend and then let's try to get some sidebets or something going next week. Can't let the Michigan and Ohio State fans out do us on the team spirit side, right? Go Horns, Go Huskers, and we'll see you in KC!
 
Point well taken, Tom! You told us and we ignored you! My condolences to Tim and the Horns. If it is any consolation, the Huskers aren't looking any better right now! How is the OU OSU game going Tom? Is it on tv?

Now if my beloved Sooners can take care of business up in Stoolwater tomorrow all will be right with the world again! Nebraska and Oklahoma for the Conference Championship, just the way it should be!
 
I am in shock the way Texas has let there season go to waste:mad: :mad: .The only thing that makes it any easier to swallow is that we won it all last year.
Terry, if you are looking for any christmas gift ideas...take care of OU for me:D :eek:

I feel your pain,how in the world did A&M beat ya'll? I can't stand Franchonie either. Ya'll's defensive cordinator,Chizik is one of the best in the business and he was very good while he was @ Auburn. One thing about college football,it ain't over till it's over.

I feel your pain Bro. We went through a similar experience in 2001 after going undefeated in 2000. We were all set to go to the Big 12 Championship game again having only the Okie Aggies left to mow down in our final regular season game at home. Sure enough, they managed a once-in-a-lifetime performance including a game winning reception right over the outstretched hands of the real Roy Williams and left us all gasping for air in the stands. It just goes to show ya... it can happen to anyone at any time.

Dang, you'd root for the Bugeaters before us? I can understand you cheering for OSU today since they have the ability to put you in KC but at least wait to see what happens today before picking sides for the B12 game.

Any word on Colt's injury? That kid took a couple of massive hits and that last one was downright scary to watch as he writhed on the ground. Sure hope he's okay, he's got a bright future in the game if he can stay healthy.

The only thing I have heard on Colt today was that it was another injury to his shoulder. I was on the golf course with my father in law during the game and they were sending updates of the game over the GPS units in the carts, so it was REALLY hard not being able to see what was going on. It was probably best not being able to see it though. My brother in law said that when Jevan Sneed came out after Colt went out, the crowd "booed" him...did anybody else see it? If they did that truly is a low point seeing our own fans do that kind of thing to a kid less than 6mons out of high school
