THE THREAD IS ALIVE!!!!! LOL

top 5 looks like this to me:

Russell to OAK
J. Thomas to DET
B. Quinn to CLE
Calvin Johnson to TB
Peterson to ARI

I missed this thread!!!:p
I just asked my husband about Troy Smith & he said he probably won't get taken until the 2nd round!!!! :( So much for me knowin' how to pick 'em!!!!

Holy cow the thread that wont die, its kinda like a bad rash that keeps coming back lol

Quinn is overrated and wasn't worth a top 5 pick. Falling to 22 may actually help him, less preassure this way.

Lions of course blew another draft as the take a crap qb in round 2, Drew Stanton is another Mike Mcmahon...who you ask, exactly. With so many other needs and at least 5 players that I saw available then that could have made an impact this year. Oh well it Matt Millen

Troy Smith dropped to the 5th, no surprise there, although I do believe he did fall into the perfect spot for him. Playing behind McNair, who is similar in style, should help Smith learn the pro game. 3-4 years down the road this could end up being a pretty good steal for the Ravens.

Last time there was a Draft, I had a really LOW number... it was like 18... so I enlisted in the Navy so I didn't have to sit in a foxhole... Oh, A football Draft.... my Bad:eek:

Hi, Karl! That comment brought back some not so pleasant memories!!!! I was number 58, Born at 11:58 pm on Aug. 5, Aug 6 number was 316 and they had been trying to induce labor for my mother all day. Funny how just a few seconds can really change things, huh?

I agree with you. Although I wouln't be surprised if a possible position change might be in his future.

How bout that LSU talent, 4 first rounders!!
