I think what made it worse was loosing to the Aggies of all teams.
I feel for ya Tim.

What makes it worse is a new neighbor just had there house finished a few months ago and they have a huge Aggie flag flying out front. Thats ok, we have had our HUGE Longhorn flag out there for quite a while longer . It just sucks to walk out in the front yard to see A&M after such a tough loss.
Teri, I hope Ohio state wins it all this year! Your team has already proved they deserve the Championship already!

My niece goes to UT & I took her & her sister shopping yesterday, well we found ornaments with UT on them right next to the Aggie ones so my niece got her a UT one but my other one reached for a Aggie one & she was told not to even touch them, needless to say, she jerked her hand away very quickly!!

I have a really good feeling about OHIO STATE winning it all, it can't get here soon enough for me!!

Shutout in Blacksburg today 17-0. Defensive played great, Offensive couldn't run a draw if they tried. I'll give VaTech much credit. They are such a better program than the Hoo's. The punch us in the mouth everytime and take no prisoners. That pains me to say, but true.

Just got back from my hunting trip. It was an AWESOME game!! Well here it goes ..... Congratulations Ohio State! tOSU is a heck of a team and is deserving of their ranking. I had a blast the weeks leading up to the game. It's great to be a part of the biggest rivalry in college football. I do think that MICHIGAN is the second best team in the country but it doesn't look like a rematch is going to happen. I've never agreed with a ranking system but it's what we have. I'll be pulling for OSU in the national championship against USC. Now I have to go buy my tOSU coffee mug and start paying my debt to my tOSU buddy ......

Tim, I agree wholeheartedly about the fun of this thread! My sincere condolences on a tough loss to the Aggies--I watched the whole game and was really shocked. A tip of the hat to Tom and his prophetic "chicken counting" statement! Gotta admit we (and a lot of other people) overlooked the Sooners. I watched that game too and must say that the bugeaters will need a super effort to beat the Sooners, but I do think it will be a good game. Thanks to Teri for the buckeye bag karma! NU definitely looked better in the second half than usual, but will need a really complete effort to win next weekend. Tom, I'd be willing to offer this--I'll replace the picture of my car with the OU logo if we lose--what are you willing to put up?? Hope everyone stays with this thread--this is too much fun to quit! Don't think much of Stoops? The job he's done this year with the myriad of distractions and setbacks is amazing, I'm hoping he stays for life! Don't get me started on Callahan. He's stepped in it on numerous occasions.

Yes I did. A nice 6 point. Had a great time. However the drive (9hrs) sucked after having to leave on Sunday morning following the "defeat". Congratulations again on the big win!

A $20 donation to DRAW sounds great to me, Tom! And I agree about Callahan--and don't get me wrong, I have a great deal of respect for what Stoops and co have done at OU, and I think he's a great coach--just some of the things he says sort of rub me the wrong way--Probably just like Callahan would if I wasn't a husker fan. Truce on the coaches??

Hey, good to hear from ya, Tim! Looks like Tom and I are going the donation to a worthy cause route instead of the avatar thing. Thanks for all the support for the huskers along the way--I'll be pulling for the Horns in their bowl game also. The OU NU champ game should be a good one, but I have to admit OU looks pretty scary! Lots of talent there. I think NU has a fair amount of talent also if we can put it all together at one time. Hope it's a good game at least!

By the way, anyone besides me follow college volleyball? I'm really addicted to good college vb, and some of the best teams in the country are in the big 12. Sadly, the NU vb team is #1 in the nation, and hardly anyone in the state even knows about it! NU played #8 Texas this weekend (I thought of you, Tim!) and beat them in straight sets. Guess that's just the way it goes living in a football state, huh? Tim, have you ever checked out the Horns VB team? They are really good with a couple of devastating hitters and good defense. Ok, enough about vb on the football thread. Teri, the logo as PJs avatar looks great!!! Go Huskers?
