I made fun of my school's team earlier in this thread, and now we are Bowl eligible!!!! It is still only a temporary diversion from basketball, and I am sure the fans/players would be happy just to be in a bowl game, but as far as football is concerned, we will take what we can get!

Unless Notre Dame and Michigan are the only 1 loss team's still standing, NO REMATCH PLEASE. Michigan got their chance to beat the Buckeyes, and didn't get it done. I don't need to see it again. Scoring all those points in Columbus, I hardly see how Michigan was effected by the Buckeye crowd. Neutral field won't mean a thing. Tressel is 5-1 vs. Michigan and Troy Smith is 3-0. Hopefully someone else will get a shot. Hey, I was hoping Michigan would win, too!
Doug, I'm not giving up on the Hoos! They played well on Saturday. Who would I thought at 1-2 we would have had a shot at finishing 2nd in the Coastal. Blacksburg will be tough. It would be nice to have the Maryland game to do over!

Tom, with all respect to the Horns and Tim, one of the things I really dislike about the big 12 deal is the disappearance of the OU-NU Thanksgiving weekend game. It was always a tradition with my family and the NU-CU deal will NEVER replace the OU-NU game. Kinda miss all the hoopla that abounded when we both were dominating nationally.

You out there? How's it looking for the Texas-Aggies game? Any word on how McCoy is doing? Will he be ready to play?
Looking forward to NU getting by CU. In situations like this, we have had a tendency the last few years to step on our d*cks. Hope we can avoid that approach this week!

Hey Terry, I havent heard anything about McCoy this week on any of the radio shows here locally or on tv, but I assume he will be ready to play! The Aggies are always scary to play wherever you play them so Fridays game should be good!!! We have family staying with us this week so EVERYONE will be watching the game

Good one, Teri! I deserve that! Just included this link Huskers.com to prove to others (and myself) that I'm not hallucinating this time. Hope the NU CU game is a snooze so I can watch Tim's battle with the aggies, but, as I mentioned before, after a week off and looking at CU's record, we certainly may not show up ready to play. I hope we do. Ohio State sure did! Congrats!

Hey Terry, I just watched the news here and they have cleared Colt McCoy to play against the Aggies!!! So hopefully the Horns can pull it off this week and we will play again here soon!!!
By the way.. my wife, kids and I took some pictures this past week down at the UT tower and at the stadium in our "longhorn gear"... if anybody knows how to post pictures let me know

hey I have been here several times to accept my shame and I'm on vacation even.
you're right it was a great game, the field kept tickin me off but thats what home field advantage is all about.
and yes I do hate notre dumb more than osu, I always hope the big ten wins.....of course one reason for that is it makes Michigan, ya know the all time winningest school in college football histroy, look even better

Great news about McCoy--that's gotta be a real morale booster for the 'Horns! I have no doubt about the outcome of the game--and I'm gonna watch--what time is it on? Huskers play at 2:30 on abc (really, Teri!) and I hope we can handle the Buffs--these two teams don't like each other much, so I expect a penalty filled game. Hope the huskers can put together 4 quarters in preparation for our meeting in KC! Best of Luck to the Horns! (Sorry, Tom!)
