Setting up for another "How many 1 lose teams will be excluded" scenario.
USC, Florida, Auburn, Arkansas are loving Rutgers!

don't forget the loser of um/osu should be included in that list, perhaps at the top

I'm off to the LSU vs Alabama game tomorrow at Tiger Stadium. Nothing like an SEC football game on Saturday!!!!!!!!......Geaux Tigers!!!!!!

Thats for sure, especially if it comes down to a FG, or less than a TD differance in the final score, say for instance (God forbid) Michigan wins (gulp!) by a FG then what????? Ohio St. drops to #5????? or visa versa, Michigan losses by a FG (it will be way more than that:p ) then how far do they drop??? I say we just move this game to Indianapolis the first weekend in December and call it the National Championship game. Whoever wins will be the National Champ (OSU Baby!!!) Rutgers looked VERY impressive in a Big (for them) game, BUT Ohio St OR Michigan would eat them alive....................War, its gonna be a war..................

I only say move it to Indy because that would be a neutral site, anywhere would be fine, but Indy sounds good, give Ohio St. half the tickets and Michigan the other half, and the first weekend of December so I can go (I'm going home that week, a stop in Indy would be on my way), I'll get the fire started, season the pot, prepare the wolverine stew, after we get done they will be the "bobcats"...........:p Oh how I hate Michigan ...........War, it will be a War.......

I think it would be good for OSU/MICH to play somewhere in between like the TEXAS/OU rivalry is played in Dallas at the Cotton bowl, but how do you move it to make it fair for the team who played away the year before and is looking to play at home that particular year?
Either way it will be a great game and I dont care either way who wins...as long as Texas win out and moves up a spot or 2(enter prayer here:D )

I guess I'm of the belief that the season is the playoff. So, the Michigan/OSU loser (in my opinion) shouldn't be in the title game. Both teams have the best shot at making the championship game of any other team. They're schedule and their record has rewarded them with the chance to play in it. The loser shouldn't be rewarded with a rematch. And we shouldn't have to watch one. Call it the disadvantage of playing the toughest game last, but going into the game, they control their own destiny. Put up or shut for the combatants. And, I wasn't a fan of the FSU vs. UF rematch in 1996.

by that logic then, a texas/osu match up shouldn't happen, either should notre dame/michigan. if they're the two best teams then they are the two best teams.

I believe the only way osu/michigan do rematch is if several of the other top teams lose again and michigan wins a tight one over osu. Most people wouldn't drop osu that far in the polls.
Florida is done right now, louisville and auburn already lost and several more top 10 teams have to play each other yet. Should be a wild finish to the season

No I'm not saying that either PJ. I could see Texas vs. Ohio State. Especially when OSU got Texas and a young QB at the beginning of the year. And, I still think OSU is better than Texas. I'm not some dumbass whose going to tell you TX can beat OSU now, later in the season. Hey, TX had their shot and lost. I'm just saying that because of the schedule and coming in undefeated, it's like a playoff. Michigan and OSU are playing for a shot at the national title game. They control their destiny. Unlike a handful of other teams do if they win out. They'll have to rely on rankings, schedule, etc.
I think USC will be there after winning out. I'd like to see Florida or Arkansas.

OHIO STATE won 54-10 today!!:p
Next weekend I think it will be a close game but the outcome will be the same, OHIO STATE is gonna beat Michigan!!

Kenny get the fire ready for the stew!!!

Well my Texas is out of the hunt after last night. After McCoy got hurt on the opening drive it really seemed to affect the whole team mentally. Hopefully McCoy will be back to play Texas A&M in 2 weeks...luckily this week is a bye week for the battered Horns. Next weeks game really is going to be exciting to watch!!! I wouldnt be suprised to see them replay for the BCS title

I've been up north hunting all weekend and this is the first chance I've had to post. Great outing by both MICHIGAN and that other team south of of us. :p :D It's on boys ... It's on!

Honestly I do feel this game should be played at the shoe. This is the scheduled location and it's only fair. However that just makes the MICHIGAN victory that much sweeter! I've never been a fan of the "polls". I would prefer a play off system. That said, this IS the system we have. I do have a problem with MICHIGAN dropping out of NC contention after a loss (hypthetically!) assuming it's CLOSE. After all, osu is the number one team according to the polls. That means that MICHIGAN is supposed to lose to them so why should they drop any farther? I definitely don't think osu should drop below 2nd WHEN they lose to MICHIGAN. They lost to the 2nd best team. I don't feel that they should drop any farther than 2, again assuming it's close.

It doesn't really matter now anyway. There are a lot of huge games yet to be played that will change everything before it's done. The standings "shake up" starts this Saturday. You osu boys better run out and find an armadillo on the side of the road somewhere because that stew is going to be terrible without any meat! Get used to hearing "Hail to the victors" because it will the theme song in the shoe Saturday! ;)

Hi, Tim!

Sorry about the 'Horns loss. The loss of McCoy sure had a major effect. Did you happen to watch the Huskers? Quite a game. We tried to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory numerous times, but the last drive for a score was kinda impressive. In retrospect, I still think we need to explore that first half only deal for the Texas NU game. We certainly seem to have some second half issues we can't seem to overcome.

Its go week now, game on, lets play I can't wait.

At the start of the season OSU scared me, but the boys in blue have played well and I don't believe they've showed everything these last couple of weeks. Playing it close to the vest and not to let any secrets out.

Michigan has already taken care of two of the teams in the bcs top 10. Why not make it 3.

HOGS having a GREAT year!!!

Had a great time in Fayetteville on Saturday with my son watching my beloved RAZORBACKS take it to Tennessee!! Glad the rest of the USA is finding out about Darren McFadden---this kid is KILLER!! Previous poster said he felt sorry for the SEC teams beating one another up each weekend. Boy, is that ever the truth. There are no easy wins in the SEC (witness MS State over ALA, and Georgia whoopin' over Auburn). Goin' to Starkville Saturday to see if the HOGS can close the deal and get to Atlanta. Life is good in the Natural State today!!!:) :)

Some guys pee in the snow and write their name.
Darren McFadden can pee on concrete and write his name.

Yep like I said before nothing like SEC football! My Tigers took on a tuff Ala. team this past Saturday. Great night for football in Tiger Stadium, this was the first time I sat in the new addition to Tiger Stadium...Great sightlines you can see everything develope down on the field....But now I understand what Jimi Hendrix meant when he sang......"scuse me while I kiss the sky!!"...LOL
