Hey, Tim! Just checked your bio and see that your birthday is Aug. 5! So is mine! Unfortunately, several years before you were born!

Thats too cool!! Saturday's game just about gave me a heart attack! Every radio station here in Austin is talking about how great of an organization Nebraska has. They (fans and the team)seem to have been very welcoming towards the Longhorns!! It looks like we will meet again for the Big12 title later this year! Good luck to your team for the rest of the year so we can have another great ball game!

Thanks, Tim. We kinda pride ourselves on decent treatment of visiting fans, win or lose. We've had some nightmares when visiting Colorado in recent years and certainly don't want to get that kind of reputation. Glad to hear the people from Austin had a pleasant experience at Memorial Stadium and in Lincoln.

Hey, Tim!

Who do the 'Horns play this weekend? We got Okie State and it's on TV again! (Kind of a rarity for us lately after a couple of lackluster years). Hope both teams keep winning so we will have another Texas/Husker game to yak about a little later on in the season

Hey, Steve!

I've been watching the thread on the PBR. I must admit I have never watched any bull riding, but after all the positive comments from other people on the board, think I better give it a try. Is it on tv and if so, when and where?

My ARKANSAS RAZORBACKS are having a terrific year, especially after sucking the last two years. Had a big win against Auburn on the road, and are now 6-1 for the year. We have an easy game in LR this Saturday, and then travel to South Carolina. Things are definitely looking up--lots of great young players and hopefully more on the way. LIFE IS GOOD (for now at least)!!!!!

My Horns are playing Texas Tech at Lubbock, Tx, which is always tough no matter how bad a year Texas Tech is having. Tech always seems to step it up for Texas and against A&M. Tech is kinda "the fifth wheel" in texas football rivalries and always plays hard against the others. Tech fans throw hard tortillas from the stands out onto the field and the sidelines, although I heard something about the University was not allowing it anymore. Good luck to your Cornhuskers this weekend!!

Tim,

Same to you and the Horns. Big weekend--Husker football, NHRA Racing, and now Steve has me checking on PBR. And I guess there's some kind of Nascar event this week also? The horns will prevail against Tech I'm sure.

Things were shaken up a bit this week with USC losing and once again my Horns gave everybody over at the house here last night a heart attack!! Our last few games have been scary for us fans. Hopefully we can keep it together for the rest of the year.
Terry, sorry to see your Cornhuskers lose yesterday. I still think Nebraska is the toughest team in the Big12 north, so hopefully we will still meet up for the BIG12 title game:)

Hi Tim,

Yeah, the huskers came out like a ball of fire and downhill from there. I'm kinda confused now. Either Okie State is a lot better team than most people think (I thought they looked great second half) or the Huskers aren't as stout as I had hoped. Only time will tell. Damn, we had a chance to grab ahold of the lead since Mizzou got whacked...so it goes.

Watched the Texas game also (kinda becoming a 'Horn fan by osmosis now) Wow what a game! Glad they pulled it out! Congrats to the Horns, and I'll keep hopin' for the Huskers. One more performance like our second half against OSU and we may be hearing the fat lady warming up her voice in the background!

My Hoo's are tied for 2nd in the ACC Coastal. Florida State, Miami, and Virginia Tech are the 3 remaining games. This used to be murderers row. My how the mighty have fallen. But we have fallen too.

The Horns play Oklahoma state this weekend so pray for us!!! Luckily we play them here in Austin, but 2 years ago they jumped on us pretty bad in the first half.( I believe 38?-0) That game stands as the Horns greatest come from behind win in school history!!! Last weeks game actually is our 2nd greatest come from behind. The Horns have had a bunch of injuries lately all on defense, so playing a passing team is scary for us fans.

Hi, Tim! Wish you well with OSU. I think they are a pretty good team. Not to wish the Horns any bad luck, but I hope you guys don't blow them out. Winning by a comfortable margin will be fine. That way the Huskers won't look so bad in comparison. We have Mizzou this Sat and I'm kinda afraid this is NOT the week to run into the Tigers. They are a good team and I think they are probably pissed after last week, but so should the Huskers be after a performance like we had against OSU! Luck to the Horns, and hopefully the Huskers can sneak by Mizzou. By the way, saw your post on Andrew Cowin, and I totally agree--he is an excellent people person and represents his sponsors well and always seems to have time for fans--I'm hoping he finds another ride soon also.

Hey, Tim!

Congrats on a great Horns win yesterday! The Huskers also had a good day and looked a lot more impressive against Mizzou than I thought they would. Things are looking better for that Texas-NU rematch we've been talking about, huh? If it happens we'll have to have a little fun on the board here with it....maybe a small wager of sorts??? Of course, I'll need to have some odds....keep in touch!

We moved here (Boise) 6 mos ago and love it. Boise State is looking very strong---9-0 and are trying to get into a big bowl game, possibly Fiesta bowl as reps were in town for last weeks game.

Yesterday was a good day for both of our teams!! Our teams will more than likely meet up again for the Big 12 title!!! I have to say congrats to the Horns freshman quarterback Colt McCoy for setting a school record for touchdowns in a single season and only needs 2 more to set the NCAA record for most touchdowns in a season by a freshman!!! With games still on the schedule he is sure to break that record before the end of the year as he is averaging 3 per game!! Vince Young was exciting to see because of his break away speed, but McCoy is as exciting, if not more, to watch because of his passing!!!

looks like Michigan and the Buckeyes were both looking ahead a few weeks during their games this weekend.

Nice for for Michigan that it happened this week instead of next as Indiana isn't the easy cakewalk team it was expected to be. The crappy way they played against Ball state would have likely been a loss against Indiana.

Hi, Tim!

I was just thinkin'......If the Horns and the Huskers meet for the big 12 title, think they will let us just play the first half and call it good? We seem to have some problems in the 3rd and 4th quarter, and that should make it a good game! What's the Horns faithful think about that idea?
