looks like Michigan and the Buckeyes were both looking ahead a few weeks during their games this weekend.

Nice for for Michigan that it happened this week instead of next as Indiana isn't the easy cakewalk team it was expected to be. The crappy way they played against Ball state would have likely been a loss against Indiana.

I couldn't agree more. I actually expected this type of game THIS up coming week at Indiana. I'd like to think this situation is better. This should re-focus MICHIGAN for Indiana. I believe that they will make Indiana a statement game setting up "The game" next week. I believe ohio st will do the same thing with Northwestern.

I'm glad Michigan had the sleeper against ball st. Indiana could have burned us. you're right though this should refocus them for this game.

I was just thinkin'......If the Horns and the Huskers meet for the big 12 title, think they will let us just play the first half and call it good? We seem to have some problems in the 3rd and 4th quarter, and that should make it a good game! What's the Horns faithful think about that idea?

The Horns have been pretty unpredictable as of lately, but have pulled it out in the 4th quarter, so I gotta diagreee with you on the 1st half only . Every game the Horns played in Oct they had to come from behind This past weekend though they REALLY pulled it together!!

Ok, didn't think that one half deal would fly. If we make it, we'll just go for hopefully 4 quarters and have a good game. But, the Horns looked awfully good against OSU, and OSU literally beat the snot out of us, so that concerns me a little. However, NU did look pretty good against Mizzou, and I think they are a pretty good team. Time will tell, but it sure is fun tossing back and forth with a Texas fan! Keep in touch.

Well I think it was a wake up for both #1 and #2, now they can tune up for the REAL bcs game on the 18th. The two best Defensive backs in the country, This will be the game of the Century!! Oh how I hate Michigan

My best friend is a huge ohio st fan. We are having a blast with the rivarly this year! (However always in good taste) As much as I can't stand osu I will admit that they are a great team and I feel are currently the best in the country. Enjoy it now osu ... You only have 11 more days to make that claim. Then it's MICHIGAN's turn ....

At least you admit that OHIO STATE is a great team & the best in the country (I am sure that was hard for you!) but in 11 days after we beat Michigan, OHIO STATE will still be great & we will still be #1!!!!

They'll be cookin' up wolverine stew over a good hot Buckeye fire in Columbus, bring us some fresh meat I can't wait, this will be the Mother of all college football games. There's nothing quite like an Ohio St./ Michigan game anyway, then throw in a berth as the number one team in the Nation for the BCS Championship game as a little incentive to play even harder, Then rank the two teams #1 and #2 in all the polls (which they should be). Well.....It's gonna be a war........

I can even say with ease that Ohio state is a great team and there is no shame for them being number 2 in the Big Ten, especially when #1 will also be the national Champ.

You might as well keep the run offense off the field and you can't live on the pass alone. Defense wins NATIONAL championships!

Luckily we have a satellite dish so I catch all of the games but I did have on my OHIO STATE shirt a couple of weeks ago & I think a little old man in a UT shirt put a hex on me!

Osu seems to have a little rivalry going with UT the last couple years. I didn't know if you would hear much about "The game" down there in UTexas country. I've never seen a MICHIGAN/osu game hyped so much and so early as in this season but understandably so. You guys have handed us our a$$es the last 4 of 5 years so this year will be just that much sweeter when MICHIGAN rolls the buckeyes in their own place!

Well if Louisville or West Virginia were going to be included in a title game if they won out then does that mean Rutgers just earned there way in last night? They're much further down the bcs line right now but enough teams in front of them play each other that maybe

How can they not? I don't believe in the current system. Heck, look they have at number 1! Sorry Terri/Kenny ... I had too! However it IS the system in place and Louisville was right there so I don't see how they can't be since they're undefeated. It's going to be an interesting end to the season.
