Hopfully , all of the Big12 teams will win there bowl games...and yes Tom..even OU:eek: Good luck to everyones teams in the next few weeks

Wait a minute, if you are gonna claim the phantom onside kick game, I'm gonna proclaim LSU the best one loss team in the country based on the stinkin Auburn game!!!
Yeah, well... in the arena of Zebra robbery I think we CLEARLY get the nod this year. Even ESPN said we got robbed.

Hey Terry, Auburn will be a tough one to overcome, but we will pull for ya!!
My Horns are playing in the "toilet...I mean Alamo bowl:p Boy , what a difference a year makes...we were getting ready to play for the national title and this year we are lucky to even know what a football looks like...It kinda makes me feel like we are OU:p :D

Hi, Tim. The 'Horns will do just fine! Is McCoy healthy yet? Sounds like the Auburn deal will be a tough go for the Huskers, but hopefully we can play a little better and add our names to the list of Big 12 Bowl victors! Go Huskers, Go Horns, and yes, Go Sooners, for the glory of the Big 12! How's that sound?

Tim, I hope you remember what that was like because Texas only gets the opportunity to play for one National Championship every 25 years or so. It's different for Oklahoma since we've played for 3 in this century alone.

And STILL no responses from Florida or USC fans? Guess we can see the real fans are from OU, NU, Texas, Michigan, and Ohio State, huh? (with a little nod to the ND representatives that have spoken up lately!)

the great thing about stats is that you can read them however you want. By winning percentage Florida had the toughest schedule (michigna 3rd) in the country.

BUT Michigan opponents had more wins, 77, than any other teams in the country. So which is harder? more impressive??

I do agree that the sec had ore good teams than the big ten (although not as good as they like to think) but the Big Ten had the 2 best teams

Thats proves the point about perception doesn't it!!:D

Michigan is an awesome team & would have been just as deserving as Florida to get the championship game nod...

However, the comparison of conferences I will argue all day. Those stats don't lie. 9 bowl teams... And by the way, the Big 10 did NOT have the 2 best teams, they had 2 of the top 3 teams....:D

Yeah Tom you are correct, but of those 3, how many has OU won? If my memory serves me correctly...1...same as my Horns:D

Surely you can come up with something better than that. I mean really, we were playing for Championships and y'all were in the Holiday Bowl, lol!

You can't win 'em if you don't get to play for 'em.

1 of those games OU shouldnt have even played in...USC should have gone instead! Holiday bowl...I believe we won the Rose bowl the year you are referring to against Michigan...

these type of arguments just solidify what i am sure all of you already know....

WE NEED A PLAYOFF!!!!

Good Morning Everyone! Interesting visits between Tom and Tim! And, Teri, I can't resist either--GO HUSKERS!

Is it?? How many non conference wins did they have against the top 25? ONE and yes the big ten had more. You can get a good record when all you play is creampuffs.

I do believe that the sec has more good teams then any other conference right now, I'm just not so sure they are great teams.

Michigan had only one win against a ranked opponent at the time of the game all season. Only two teams are currently in the top 25. Florida beat 3 ranked teams all of which are still in the top 17 in the current BCS rankings.

The thing that gets lost is the brutality of an SEC season. Surviving that conference & a championship game (extra game that big 10 does not have) carrys so much value.

Against 9 SEC bowl teams, 7 Big 10 teams, 10 of Floridas opponents are going bowling, 7 of Michigans opponents.

Anyway, thats what makes college footbal great, Diehard Fans!!! You should see the Bama fans around here, there are rabbid & Bama hasn't been very good in a long time!!
