I just wanted to let you know that things have gotten better in my maize and blue world. A well placed piece of masking tape with the word "SUCKS" under the ohio state logo has made my coffee drinking experience somewhat tolerable now. My buddy is none too happy with me at this time. Oh well I'm honoring our wager!

I could never stoop low enough to utter such words, I'm sure eventually the hearing will come back and I should regain most of the use of my left side. I've been told that the hump, rash and sores will be ok with the right maize and blue treatment.
If anything this just furthers my resolve, I will now teach my kids the alphabet and have them leave out the O
. Oh wait thats right you're a buckeye fan, they just hope fans and players know 15 letters

1997 the tie for the championship just because it was Osbornes last season, they gave him a little going away present. Michigan was by far the better team. It would be like saying is Ohio State and Boise both finish undefeated that they should split the title
Last years bowl game, a penalty should have been called on that last play, the huskers had started onto the field, basically cutting off at least 1/2 the field our guy who who had room to run ended up seeing a gazillion red jerseys running at him and got squeezed out of bounds. Nope I'm not bitter

Thanks for filling me in, PJ. And, for what it's worth I was never a big Osborne fan (the program was never as clean as he made it out to be with all his talk about "student athletes") and I totally agree with you about the 1997 situation. How's the rash, nausea, shakes and chills goin? Hope you survive to put the big M back up!

I drove through Nebraska a few year ago, its was late I needed some sleep so I stopped at a hotel. I go to walk across the street to get some food when I see the street sign. I was on some dumb road named after Osborne..worst night sleep I've ever had

Must have been the Grand Island exit and the Tom Osborne expressway--I always thought that was kinda dumb too. It connects GI with Hastings, Tom's home town. By the way, Tom lost his run for governor of Nebraska in the primary election--maybe people finally figured out that coaching football doesn't necessarily prepare you for service in public office! That bad night's sleep was probably due to a strange disease that occasionally affects Michigan fans--I think it's called the "O Effect" or something like that....
