State of Your College Fball Team?

well I had a freak accident with the motorized wheelchair.

The duct tape pen came undone and fell on the armrest. Well since my arms aren't usable anymore I tried to pickk it up with my mouth. As yet another side effect of this nasty O I have developed a slight drooling problem. Well as I'm leaning over, straining to reach the pen, the drool is a flowing and must have entered into the control system short circuiting it. All of a sudden the chair takes off (pulling a very nice wheelstand I must say) I have no abiltiy to control it so I am just along for the ride. It would turn without notice and raced all around the building. It is a good thing that my vision is now so blurry, it saved me from seeing the wall I crashed through. on the bright side I was told that the hole in the wall was a perfect Michigan M.

Of course the blow through the wall knocked me out for a short time. I awoke on the freeway with sirens all around me. Apparently when you short our one of these motorized chairs they are able to go very fast. Of course I wasn't able to pull over so the officer just chased me. Eventually they shot out on the the tires on the wheelchair, this spun me sideways, crashing me into, then over the guardrail. Now this is when you know luck is on your side, instead of landing on the hard ground I splash into a pond. Of course its winter so the water is freezing leading to a slight heart attack just as I think its all over for me the wheelchair splashes into the water. The short leads to a nice electric shock, restarting the heart. Of course it did keep shocking me so now I do have this twitch.

I did end up with a speeding ticket, but once the second officer showed up, The first one told him the story of how he chased this speeding wheelchairr then shot out the tires. Next thing I know an ambulance shows up, I thought it was for me but they threw the first officer into a straight jacket and took him away. I believe they said that he's now on administrative leave. I was gonna let them know he was telling the truth but then they ripped up my ticket so.....

Hey, Tom? How you doin? Heard the weather forecast for KC for tomorrow night? I haven't, but if it's cold and nasty it might be a factor. The bugeaters of old in the option days were pretty impervious to the weather, but the new fangled aerial Huskers may be more affected by the weather than before. Will it have any affect on OU?

Just wanted to give a shout out to the University of Houston Cougars. They finished the season with a 10-3 record last night while winning the conference. This year was actually the first year I have ever gone to one of there games and I wasnt expecting to be impressed but I actually was. They are a pretty decent team actually. Not like your OSU, MIchigan, USC's but they are pretty good and I thought they deserved a shout out.

Well I thought things were looking up. The ticket was ripped up, the ringing in my ears was getting better. The second officer offered to give me a ride home. On the way home a deer ran out in front of us, as the officer swerved to avoid it my head cracked the side window. It was a miracle, my blurred vision cleared up. I shouted in joy, well it wasn't really a shout, I seem to have lost the ability to speak so its more of a high pitched groan. Anyway this ended up being a bad thing as my sounds startled the officer causing him to not see the stop sign that we blew through. The last thing I was able to see with my newly clear vision was a large semi truck coming right at us. Imagine my shock and horror when I realized it was a CheeriOs truck that was about to hit us. Things went in slow motion as I realized I was about to be taken out by another O.


I woke up a few hours later. I'm now laying in traction in the hospital. Both arms and legs are in cast. The ringing in my ears is gone but now I'm hearing an odd voice. It sounds like Jerry Lewis and it keep telling knock knock jokes but never says the punch line. Let me tell you there is nothing worse than voices in your head that aren't funny.


I had a bad reaction to the cheap duct tape we had used to keep th pen on my head. I know have some flesh eating diesease in my forehead.

My vision is still clear which is now a bad thing. Somebody told the nurse I'm a sports fan so trying to be helpful she rolled a tv into the room and put a video in. Unfortunetly the only video she had was a copy of the Michigan/osu game. I can't talk so I'm just stuck watching it over and over and over.


I shall fight this curse till the end.In fact I'm not going to use the letter O anymore.

well the disease on my forehead has been cured, although I now have a big scarlet O scarred on my head, they claim it could go away.

What worries me is that I seem to be hallucinating ALOT. I thought I overheard people down the hallway saying usc lost and that Florida is losing. I think it may be a cruel joke and that they are just playing games with me about the usc/florida games. The medication they have me on has me paronoid now too. I think they doctors are actually reading my mind. One of the doctors has a a Big O on the back of their jacket and I keep hearing them call someone Dr Sewell. I just can't figure out where I know that name from.

The nice thing is when I do fall alseep I dream of big giant maize and blue M's dancing in a field of flowers with puppies and kittens playing together and there's banjo music, I don't know why but there is. Wow are these meds good.

I know I keep saying the same thing but this last one cracked me up!!! When I got to the Dr. Sewell part I spit Mt. Dew on my screen, you are just to funny!!!

So what is the bet gonna be if it is OHIO STATE & that blue team again???? As bad as your medical condition has gotten just from one week with the big beautiful O we might have to come up with something different!!!

I’ve noticed this thread almost everyday when I click on “New Posts” but I’m not a very big fan of College ball (even though I love the NFL…. The Vikings SUCK ) so I haven’t bothered clicking on it. I just realized this IS the thread with the most replies on the entire Nitromater website!!! Imagine that, a drag racing site with the largest thread being related to football!!!

Don’t get me wrong, I’m not trying to make a big deal about it. I’m just making an observation.

I here ya Brian! This thread has been the best on this board and its about football instead of drag racing. There are several people on this board I have come to know and enjoy "chatting" with JUST from this thread. Hopefully I will be able to meet some of you at a few "mater meetings" at the races!!!

Sorry to disappoint you Michigan fans (PJ) but Florida just finished beating Arkansas, and based on what the TV guys were saying, their strength of schedule was more difficult than Michigan's so by Monday (if not tomorrow) I predict that the Nat'l championship game is gonna be OSU against Florida. And I thought there was NO WAY that USC would lose to UCLA. Those end of the year rivalries can always be a toss-up, and that it was. My best friend, a huge USC fan and alumni, has to be groaning in despair right now.

I'm afraid you're right. Florida did play a tough schedule and with many of the people who vote not wanting to see a rematch I suspect Michigan will not move up and some will even leave them lower than 3rd on the ballot just to make sure that there is no rematch This is why the bcs stinks. I think Florida is just as deserving.

well they started me in therapy today, I was thinking it was going to be physical therapy but they have me talking to a shrink. I don't get it, it may be the medication is making me paronoid again but the shrink wants me to chant these positive things about Ohio State, something about loving them or some horrible statement. I don't get it. I suppose it is a good thing that I still can't talk otherwise I'd really tell them what I think.

That Dr Sewell seems strange too. She walks around with what looks like a bag of buckeyes. I've also noticed what looks like a vodoo doll in her one pocket. Now that I think about it it looks like me in my michigan jersey hmmmmmmm naw that can't be right

I can think of a few people I'd like to get with a vodoo doll, luckily you aren't one of them.
As your week is just about over, I hate for it to end as I'll miss these great stories but I have to say you have been a great sport & it has been alot of fun!!!
